Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
2 parks today Road just about everything. Longest wait 15 minutes. Dwarf is the only crazy wait without a FP but down so much. Test track seems to be having a few issues but FP fixed that Have yet to ride frozen but have a week. Different tier. Wasn't a fan of hub for wishes watched from behind.

Been many years since we ate at Sci-Fi. Food greatly improved. Very slow delivery of food from time of order to table. Same with dessert. Kitchen just didn't seem to keep up. But enjoyed the overall experience, just too much time in there.

from today, we went to see FROZEN IN TIME again.. (ice show).
the place was full to the seams, but we spotted 2 spaces right next to the rink on one of the sides, we snatched that place right away.

There was also a musical show with the CATS cast.
awesome stuff.

I'm so happy you're having fun after the transportation fiasco. I wish I could get my dh to take a cruise, they look like fun!

Glad to hear you're having fun and Sci Fi has improved. I wasn't so happy after eating there back in 13 and would never suggest eating there to anybody.

But @Gabe1 said the food has much improved now! That's good to know. I went there once, maybe 3-4 years ago to try it out. (I was the "hitchhiker" in the back of a family's car-- :p .) Thought the place was a hoot. I didn't get anything exotic--just a burger, etc., and for that, it was fine. Really enjoyed Sci Fi for the overall "ambiance" :D

I could care less about phones, so not "everyone" goes crazy over the latest phone. ;) By the way, heard on the early morning N.Y. Stock Exchange report that this newest iphone 7 might not reach target selling figures, because some think it doesn't have enough upgrades or whatever.
I'm with you on the phone thing. I have a very basic smart phone and it's pay as you go. It costs me a whole $7 a month. Because we live in a more rural area and cell service can be spotty at my house we do keep a "land line", it's part of the cable bundle so it's not too expensive, more than I think it's worth but not extreme.

I love roses, and this is my favorite...

The Peace Rose...!!!

That's lovely. (My father, may God rest his soul, loved to grow roses. His favorites were the red ones. We had a number of rose bushes in the front and back yards of our house. He'd often cut some, and bring them inside to my mother. It's those sweet gestures that I miss, since they've both passed away.)

I can't ever imagine giving up our land line! (And we don't live in a rural area, either. ;) ) I have a little flipphone for emergencies only, and it was only at the insistence of hubby that I agreed to carry one in my purse. (Oh, no apps, no text, no pix . . and I only use it to call out. It's off if I don't need it for an important call. :D)

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

I think it's down to the new phone not having a headphone socket that everyone is kicking off about. that and they said it took "courage" to take the decision to eliminate it

She said the food is better but it's still slow. One can hope they can fix that soon. Last time we were there the food was meh, they brought out something my ds is allergic to even though it was marked on the ticket and blamed me for not mentioning it and it was slow as heck not to mention the beer was warm.:hungover: There are still several places I want to try so it's not hitting my must do list anytime soon. Rant over

Ha ha ha!!! You're right--I forgot, they mentioned that in the news report, too. :hilarious: I think they mentioned something about wireless head phones or maybe those smaller ear plugs would be available for the "next" phone? (Sorry, I didn't quite get the whole explanation of that. All I know is it sounded like more money to siphon out of their customers for something basic that many people use!! )
