Ugh. That would rub me the wrong way.

The God syndrome. Errr.

Heh, heh . . . ;) IMO, I think that @betty rose 's doctor's comment could be open to various interpretations. When I read her doctor's comment, I interpreted it more as a supportive and light-hearted gesture. I wasn't there, of course, but I'm imagining that they both smiled and agreed. Every doctor and every patient is different, but I think Bets' doctor was trying more to instill "incentive" for more appropriate eating choices, while also generating some goodwill toward her new patient. Just my two cents.

Happy Farm Market Friday. Seeing my dh is home we're going to check out a farm market that's a bit more of a ride than my usual place. It is bigger and they have had good prices before so why not. He managed to come up with a solution to my fridge shelf problem but made quite a mess in doing so, not to mention being underfoot.

Glad the shelf is fixed. Maybe you'll find a way to break it again with all the farmers market goodies you'll buy.;) Have fun. Off to work for me. Good thing it's Friday!

Im on miami already.
No rainsome little clouds there and here but nothing serious.
and yes, I Got insurance but not via Royal Caribbean, but by the concentrator company DESPEGAR.
Had to wake up at 4:00am to get the 6:20am flight and guess what?
it got delayed by 1 hour and half lol.
Seriousoly, if you ever fly to mexico..avoid mexico city, its crap and they always give priority to the Aeromexico brand(which as contacts with the owners of the airport AND the government).

anyway, arrived to miami at11:30 localtime and instantly went to get into my tours.

We took one of these double decker tourist buses., first the south beach one and then the city one.The city one was kinda boring, but we could dropoff in any of the stops, we decided to try VYZCAINE museum, really worth it. wonderful gardens and antiques.
We had lunch in the cafeteria inside the house too.
once out, we decided to get on the bus again and head to get to the small "millonaires" cruise ship. (which pretty much tour on the multimillion star homes in a few of the private miami islands).

so.. back and exhaustedlol.
tomorrow we hope to get to the everglades to and then to have the rest of the day to just lay down and chill to prepare for the cruise.
We saw those busses when in Miami for our cruise. We didn't do them though. We had rental car for our extra days there and in Ft. Lauderdale. Glad you're having fun!

Be safe @Goofyernmost and @93boomer I hope the storm misses both of you.
Thanks! We are being missed with just winds but our DD and her DH will be hit later today. And now my DH and some crews are being sent to SC for power restoration work after it passes there. So the kitty and I are on our own all weekend. Pray for safe travels and safety for all tilbury and emergency personnel in all the areas that get hit.
Everyone stay safe!!

I just blow it off. I will do what I want in the Dr.s office. If I don't want to do something, I won't. The retirement of the other Dr. makes me think more about doing what I want. Not to be dictated to. I guess I went along with the other Dr. because we saw him so long. Now, I don't care.
