in other news.. I oficially hate the Royal Caribbean's My Cruise system.
its stupid, redundant and you need to make things up to 3 times.

Why the hell offer the calendar option( where you can click on a timeline and day to"add" things), just to be asked again everything (including type of thing to add, then the specific thing, then time and day) every time you want to add something.

Then you have to "check out" and give your darn phone, email, everything again and again and again for every single thing you want to add.

Then it throws conflicts errors even when theres clear separations between shows/activities/dinning.

That is nice that she will learn Spanish and know 3 languages. I could take a little of your heat, we were at 72 today. It was a little chilly when I was relaxing in the hammock. I think @MinnieM123 would like me to take a little of her heat too.
We've been in the 90s here. My brother's school is half unairconditioned, so his school closes if the heat index is above 90 by 11 am. He got off today and will likely have off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week.

wait a sec, you have to pedal to enjoy the bar? lol.

OK, we all have our fun in our own way...you can do relatively the same thing at the Boardwalk at Disney and other resorts...

But seriously wouldn't you rather do this around the Boardwalk????

What fun! I've always wanted to do one of those pedal pubs, but since hubby isn't a beer drinker he just sees it as exercise with no reward. And most of my friends aren't beer drinkers either.

That food looks amazing! You are a lucky girl to be able to eat that!

Does he at least drink wine? Only hard liquor is banned. Beer never ever touches my lips, can't even stand the smell of the stuff.

Maybe it's because I took a vacation day today, and I'm hungry from all the excitement--but that sure looks good right about NOW for breakfast!! :hungry: :D

Ha! Breakfast is actually my least favorite meal. I'm the type of person that has to be up several hours before food seems even slightly appealing, I've been known to eat some very untraditional things for breakfast when I finally get around to it.

DD came home from school and said they are going to give her Spanish in place of English. I'm so happy about this because she was HATING the English. Since she already speaks, the teacher was having her help with lesson prep while the other kids were doing English lessons. And when she DID do the English lessons, it was all stuff she has known since she was 2. So she's very happy, and Spanish was her first choice, too. I told her that she has to come home and teach me everything she learns.
DS is struggling with emotional development, so they asked me for permission to sign him up for a special program. Apparently this week has been a tear fest. He burst into tears today because the kid who went around to collect everyone's worksheets forgot his. And Wednesday, he burst into tears because he couldn't get his PE shirt off. The teachers said it's been tears with EVERYTHING, so hopefully this program will help. He might not qualify until the spring...he's only 8 and all the other 4th graders are at least 9, some of them already 10, and I THINK this program starts at 9, but we'll see.

By the way, can someone please take this heat now?? I could handle it if there was somewhere I could go with Air Conditioning, but even keeping the curtains closed all day, it was 83.3 F downstairs, which means closer to 90 upstairs. And work doesn't have any air co to speak of upstairs, which is where I mostly work, so I'm sure it was more than 90 there today too. I need a break!!
I'm glad they're putting her in Spanish. Seems silly to have her in basic classes for a language she speaks at home. For our schools, anyone who spoke any Spanish at home had to be tested before being placed in a Spanish course. The majority of students wouldn't integrate with those of us learning Spanish until Spanish 3 or 4. Before they could take Spanish, they had to take another language, usually French. I'm surprised there wasn't a similar policy at your daughter's school.

I hope your son starts doing better. My brother went through periods like that when he was about your son's age. They settle as they get older.

So much fun to be had. I'm glad you get a few days in Miami-it is a fun city day and night enjoy that too. How many nights is your cruise? Will you hit Disney upon return?
7 nighs, and nope, going to return right away. Disney is way too expensive for me right now.
Remember, thanks to the purchase of my new processor, I'm nearly 6,000 USD in the red.
going to slowly pay as I can.
so which means no luxuries apart form this cruise. (I wouldnt have taken this cruise if I knew my work place would get hit this hard).
