The school I teach in is not air conditioned, at the start and end of the school year there are days in which our rooms are almost unbearable. I'm sure we have had high indexes. But we have to suffer through....

Nope no wine, except communion wine. Even then he grimaces when he drinks that. He is a rum fan.

Almost time for me to go MIA for a while. Just 2 days until my vacation begins. My foot has been behaving. I sure hope that continues.

Boo! Maybe you can treat yourself to one a month (or weekly) without the salt.

It's funny how all Dr.s have different opinions. Oh well, I like your idea! I'll try this Dr.'s approach, and see if my blood pressure goes down.

It's a fun day because it is going to be a relaxing day with just me and my boyfriend hanging around the house.
It will be a relaxing day at home with my boyfriend for me. Probably will have some quality time with him as he worked all week. He is a Sociology Professor at the Local Community College and with the Semester just recently starting up again it is later hours for him. So there is that and also some glasses of Wine are in my future perhaps.I am going to eat out for dinner, with DD and grandkids. I hope you have a fun day planned!

That is great. I am on the other spectrum of the work force. I am starting my 1st real job as a Nurse on October 3rd. My boyfriend is well 9 years older than me now, but mostly he is 8 years old because I turn 24 on September 9th so he has been a Professor for a few years now.

You have picked a tough profession, lots of long hours. Good luck on your nursing career!
@betty rose would a low carbohydrate diet help with the blood pressure . It helped Mrs Ferret.
The good thing is I landed a job in an Urgent Care Facility that has set hours of operation and not a hospital setting. I will still work the occasional 10 hour shift, but will never be stuck working a double or overnight.

Yes, the new doctor said to do that too. What does Mrs Ferret have for breakfast? That kind of diet stumps me.
