Well done!

Thank you!

Be sure to also put the Grand Canyon on your bucket list. It's spectacular.

Yes it is nice. We stopped there on our way home from our California road trip. We spent the night at the historic El Tovar hotel, it is right on the rim of the canyon. There were great view from the rocking chairs of their porch.

That's the saddest day of the year....
It's okay, though. We're doing Studios today for a while before our ME pickup. And then I have the last semester of college ( :jawdrop: ) and the Hilton Head right after graduation, then I go home for a few days and then go to California. Then I leave CA and come straight here. So sad, but I'll be back.

Sort of, but their relationship is really in a mess. They are still able to do things together, like one of my grandkids birthday this week end. But the big family get-togethers like Christmas and Easter were separate celebrations. Lately, the one that created the rift has taken many moves to patch things up. Everything short of an apology, but, hopefully the pride will give way to family, which can be much more satisfying then being right or wrong. They may be doing things just to keep me happy, but, I have resigned myself to the fact that even family doesn't get along all the time. As they say, this to shall pass. As far as my X is concerned, she is still in bad shape but lately seems to have at least stabilized and not gotten any worse. I don't think that she really has any desire to live anymore, but, is just lying there waiting to die.
Well, I hope the girls can work it out...it must be really hard to have to choose.

I so agree with that.

With my Dad my Sis and I saw different things and had very different opinions on treatment along with cause. Now we have so many different views about my Mom, her overall well being right down if she should still be in that house for the long haul. My Sis an attorney is very good at winning and when at an impasse she can go for the juggler yet she has a very soft side that she tries hard to hide but it is there. Me, I don't think she is ready to cope with aging issues with my Mom or parting with our childhood home, she unlike me doesn't remember living anywhere else. She lost it when my Mom years ago asked her if she wanted her bedroom set as she was turning her bedroom into a den/computer-TV room.

Different countries have different rules. All I know is that if one visits another country, it's best to be aware of their laws and judicial system, even if they seem unusual compared to ours here. To commit vandalism in a foreign country is beyond stupid, and I have no sympathy for any of them. And these weren't just young teens either--for example, Ryan Lochte is 32 years old! :jawdrop:
makes me wonder if he was spoiled and felt like an untouchable super star.
