Ugh. :( I hear that face pain can be wicked. Hope the flare up subsides quickly. And yeah stress fractures often don't show on x-rays and when they do it is usually when they are healed. Frustrating. But ligaments, tendons and muscle tears often don't show up on x-rays, they used an ultra sound for my diagnosis 'cause I didn't want an MRI and that goes with that.

Cortisone is helpful and you say you don't have much of an appetite. Cort usually makes you hungry and thirsty so you might be able to enjoy some more food and beverages while at Disney and Universal. *bright side* And just think of how many more restrooms you will get to experience. ;) Don't forget to pull up the lists of the nicest restrooms in WDW before ya leave. :inlove:

Hope your news is encouraging next Thursday. *pixie dust*

Thanks for the kind words. I have all the bathroom locations memorized in the parks. Well in Magic Kingdom for sure. It's always the first and last stop after/before all that bus riding. Old age doesn't help much. Definitely more trips to the "little girl's room".

It was SO good. It was sweet, but tart, and had a kick to it. I drink mostly wine, and before I was 21 (basically from age 16 up) my mom would let me drink at home or when we were in Hilton Head (two states where it was legal), and since neither of us likes beer, it was mostly wine. I can honestly say that this was the best wine I've ever had.
Wine is wonderful, but I also enjoy a beer from time to time as well.

Blasphemous!!!!

Hmpf. I know I'm not suppose to question the teachings of my Nuns, just trust and obey but I've always been a rebel. It was the Catholic's that renamed the day as Christ's day centuries and centuries ago 'till then Christmas was actually Pagan Saturnalia festival. Always found that interesting. More curious that manger sets and Christmas decoration show snow around Christ. If the Shepherds were out tending to their sheep at night, it certainly wasn't winter. Or only in their dreams.

Anywaaay.. back home!!

some drama and things that happened.

  1. my aunt went over paranoic and woke me up at 6:00 am, uncle said it was dumb we would be fine waking up at 6:45.
  2. arrived 1 hour earlier than expected to the airport (uncle was right lol).
  3. As soon I finally got to the gate, it started to rain... HARD, with very low clouds (zero visibility for planes). All planes delayed 45 minutes.
  4. Very kind person told the staff that I was clearly deaf. As they were getting my attention to see if I wanted something. I'm impressed on how good United as improved in their service. back in 2014.. United was GARBAGE. Now feels way better!
  5. Arrived only 20 mins late to PVR, enjoyable trip, almost all of it with clouds and rains.
  6. Unloading and stuff went fine, but had to do some backand forts to get to the restroom because the baggage was taking too much.
  7. Picked up baggage and went thru ADUANA (and pay taxes). Just found out that they increased the allowance from 300 USD tax free to 500 USD tax free.. yay for me no import tax!.
  8. As I was carrying a very heavy bag (even with wheels, total of 3 bags) I busted my knee. I think the rotula poped out of its position, doesn't hurt unless it bends when I put weight on it. going to rest it for quite a bit :O
  9. my new monitor that replaced my older ASUS 3d ips works very well, its hella bright.(its surprising how monitors dim so much in just a few years)
  10. We had lunch and went to shower and rest. my grandmah was at it again, using my mom's naptime and me busy installing my monitor to get the dishes again lol.

What an adventure. And OH Grandmah. Sneaky Sneaky. Like those terrible 2's year.

HAH!, that reminds me an online joke that floated on tumblr and facebook.
about finding a old console (a SNES or similar) with money on it, then they keep opening parts of it.. and they keep "finding" outrageous stuff (like a bigger console inside, when its clear it wouldn't fit)

When I had my first car (a '71 Oldsmobile Cutlass), I actually did collect over $60 in coins (nickels, dimes, and quarters) out of that cars console at one point, that I kept dropping in there after cash transactions.
I put all the pennies in an empty 5 gal. water jug.

I really hate the smell of beer, and the taste is even worse. I'd rather pass on a drink than have a beer. The exception being summer shandys or other drinks that, while technically beer, don't smell or taste like beer. At home, if it's not wine, I go for the Mike's Hard Malt liquors.

To each her own, I guess. :)

I'm sorry, you lost me at "14 year olds who drive".
you forgot the part BETWEEN and
Too funny! Maybe you should have taken a big sip of wine and said some random grade number, like 8th grade! That plum wine looks nice.
I hope he wasn't being condescending. Imagine him saying it like "you look so young, what are you doing here drinking?"
or worse.. the creepy type "hey, how young are you, might want to hook with you" type. (anyone remembers my last trip report? yikes!)

must not be a thing in the USA. Most kids here start to learn to drive at 14.
by 15-16 they get their first car or get their parents to lend their cars and get a basic permit.
Most states here don't let you get your license until age 16. For Maryland, you can get your permit at 15 and nine months and your license nine months later. In Pensylvania, you can't get your permit until 16.

Not that it matters, really. So many kids put off getting their licenses. An intern at work didn't have her license. She was 22. A friend of mine was 21 getting hers. I know several people who were 18 or 19. It's actually a general downward trend in the US right now.

My parents, especially my mom, were very gungho about me getting my license. I swear she wanted me to have it so I could run her errands.
