I bought an air fryer for fries. No oil needed got it on QVC. It was a today's special value. Makes no mess. And I cook pot stickers and chicken bites in it. Melted cheese apps. for hubby. I'm slowly learning about this machine and I love it. Trying more things next week. It's new and takes a learning curve, but so far I'm happy.

And does the parts go in dishwasher?

I'm not necessarily blaming W-10 on this, it's just that it started within a couple of days after Microsoft decided that they could just download whatever they wanted to my computer without my permission. It was permission by omission. All I know is that something is wrong and I am not computer savvy enough to know what to do about it.

Yep, that has happened a lot now. Mine loaded well. Can you hand it over to one of your kids for a look-see. If my DD ever lives far from me I'm getting the system that allows her remotely to get into my computer and fix whatever I've done. :joyfull:

Another funny CM line on the way to DHS...

"Welcome to Disney's Hollywood Studios. A tribute to all movies, but mostly Star Wars."

:hilarious:

Ha! I heard one similar heading to the MK, he was a hoot of a bus driver. Shortly after the addition to FL was completed and he commented on if you are all about Princesses you'll love the new expansion.

not at all. We as owners and customers.
. we have the right to select what we want to see.
no different from owning a TV. you can change the channel anytime to skip the ads. or just use netflix for example.

Meh, I think that is an oversimplification. With a TV you flip the channel you are no longer being entertained by that station or viewing their offerings. You get on the Magical Express you are going to see an infomercial or you are going to have to put headphones on and try and block out your surroundings. You go to a theater and unless you are going to climb into your seat at the last second you are going to see trailers. I put gas in my truck and there is a commercial playing on a screen. And I have Netflix, like here I pay not to see the ads.

Customer:
noun

a person who purchases goods or services from another; buyer;patron.

You know who I blame a lot for this..... The Olympic Committee. Obviously they did not do a good enough investigation of the city of Rio before choosing them as the host country for these Olympics. There needs to be some serious guidelines met for a city to even put in a bid and the Committee needs to do a thorough investigation of everything involved with that city before even allowing that bid to go through.

Yes it would be nice if there wasn't 'all that' going into who actually gets awarded the olympics. Chicago did throw their hat into the ring but I'm not sure the outcome would have been better for the safety of the athletes as the City is the Murder Capital that Chicago is wrestling with and loosing so it is hard to say who is better than the other. I'd only hope the state could have at least produced pools that were not green. I've seen some of our Rivers in Illinois. Some are better than others but I'm certainly not getting in the Chicago River.

If we look back was the Atlanta Olympics a success? Olympics are hard no matter where they are IMO.

Funny line of the day in an article.

"Rio organizers have made deep budget cuts hitting all food service, transportation, and volunteers"

I know it costs money to put volunteers in uniforms and to train them but it just struck me as odd.

The UI can be a bit of shock if you jump straight into it from 7, that is true. But, it's leaps and bounds above the 8x Metro interface (even though that still exists).

Just get used to asking cortana to do stuff for you and life is pretty easy. Under the hood, most of it is actually pretty much the same as 7 (in terms of admin utilities, etc...the control panel options are still there).
The biggest issue with 10 is cortana keeps popping up when i am using my scroll pad :banghead:

And, you may also recall that Boston was another city that pulled out of the Olympic debacle as well. In a nutshell, the financial figures just didn't add up; and the residents made it quite clear to our elected officials that we refused to be the financial clean up crew after the games were over. (Note: I'm not referring to the current Olympics; it's the 2024 bid that was shot down.)

I think Chicago would have had in place a much better security system for the Athletes and around the Olympic venues and areas. Not only the pools being green and murky, and the other water problems but the bridge collapsed in the kayak venue as well.
