It shouldn't do anything. They have thermostats. As soon as the inside temperature is equal to or lower then the outside air the compressor shuts off and just blows fresh air. They must have some strange advice givers in Colorado. I blame it on the pot.
EDIT: I need to make a correction. As soon as the inside temperature reaches the self-set thermostat, the compressor will shut off. If, of course, you have the thermostat set at "sub-zero" it won't shut off until it reaches that temperature, which it probably won't. That could be a problem and do damage to the equipment. Otherwise it will just happily turn itself on and off, compressor wise, for as long as you desire.

Hahahaha! :hilarious:

Being a woman of a certain age, lets say I push the thermostat below 65 at night-everyone else pulls up the comforters to stay warm, me I fling them off. Glad I'm not going to blow up the system other than from wear and tear.

The guide told us to use our imagination when looking at the pine trees in this picture. She said the trees had genetically mutated and all grew this way, but she said that if we used our imagination the trees might look like elephants, especially on the left. I kind of see it anyone else?

There was a maze too and that was pretty fun, only a few wrong turns.

Thanks, so much for sharing. Kansas did grass burning too. Reminds me of our time there, and the flowers are beautiful!

Yes, for us to run the air conditioner at these temps, to 50 or lower to keep it running would damage the compressor.

We got about an inch before I went to sleep late last night. About 2-4 am it was crazy. Turned the TV up so I didn't hear the rain-rolled over and went back to sleep until a kaboom about 4am, pulled pillow over head-went back to sleep.
The louder the better to me, with only one ear working. Those noises put me right to sleep. It's been a long time since we have had thunderboomer's.
