I have gotten a message from my buildings Residence Assistant already and we move in on Saturday, September 3rd. That evening she said the building is going to have a big welcome party. That should be great.

I just scored a 5:50 dinner reservation for Chef Mickey's on the first night of our vacation. I have eaten there plenty of times. However, no one else has. So when I saw the reservation, I scooped it up. Someone must have cancelled, since this is just 20 something days away. The kids will love it.

Should be seen in this order: 4,5,6,1,2,3,7. And while we are at it, it is Star Wars. None of this New Hope business. (That should keep us busy for awhile.)

I sure will. My boyfriend has only been to WDW 2 times in his entire life and once was with me and my family. That will certainly change if we get married.

I have such fond memories of reading these books out loud with my DS when he was much younger. Since this is the summer of moving on to college, this momma is already nostalgic, enough! I think I will crack it open when the weather starts to cool.

maybe to censor things? Its been kinda hot in Rio lately.
including a robber murdered by a supposed russian admin, some of the rio athletes getting their hotels emptied..etc..

I heard a lot of the people in Rio are in a uproar over the games because the government tore down a lot of lower housing communities to build these arenas leaving many of there lower class citizens no where to go or to go in even worse areas. They also have supposedly placed walls around bad looking areas only showcasing the beautiful areas of the country. To be honest with all the stuff that has been going on with this disease and body part washing up on the shore and other unrest the Olympic Committee should have delayed the games until they could figure something better out. They are not thinking about the safety of there own people or the athletes only the money.

It was 1998. Which would have made me three. I also did not watch it when it originally aired (obviously) but my parents started me on reruns.

I was pregnant with DS when the last episode aired. He can now quote it better than I can.

Add me to the hating snow too. I like it at Christmas or if there is a snow day otherwise it can go away. Although the last couple winters we had more days below zero than snow, so I would say that the cold is just bad!

That sounds like a great evening! Especially when you mentioned Rhapsody in Blue, I love Gershwin so that would have been right up my alley. I remember when we watched the late 80's-90's versions of Illuminations and Rhapsody in Blue came on to highlight the American pavilion, it was so exciting to me and gave me goosebumps. I was just a kid, but I was a strange one and enjoyed listening the classical and jazz music (still do).

Doesn't make you strange in my book at all. DS does daily jazz on his FB page. Yesterday, he did a big write up for Louis Armstrong's birthday, and the selection was Sleepy Time Down South.

as in missing or angry because you were nowhere to pet her?

or because of the remodeling of the kitchen? or who was remodeling? I remember someone mentioned remodeling and their pet went into hiding in fear.

My first ever trip to WDW was when I was only 6 months old. I however don't remember anything about that trip.

I went for the first time at 6 months too, no memories for me and my mom and dad didn't take many pictures. But some of that magic must have been absorbed since I'm in love with the place.
