In the early years many of my friends had those cameros or Trans Ams in high school. Me, I was a Mustang Gal.
Still miss her.She was purty.
When I saw the illustrated commercial all I thought was how much did they spend on getting all those IP rights in the spot. For some reason it did not make me hungry for a big mac…Not Lovin' McDonald's new ad campaign Lovin'.
They are hoping this will pull them out of plung they are in.![]()
Yep, my first "dream" car was actually a '64-1/2-'66 Mustang, preferably a fastback ('65-'66), with a 289 c.i. V8.![]()
Same here, first snow day with very little snow.Well I have the day off of work tomorrow. Our school district canceled because our wind chill is supposed to make it feel like -38 to -40. I wonder what trouble I can get into? Nah, I will probably just snuggle under blankets with the dogs.
I do a powder foundation, some concealer, eye shadow, blush, and lip gloss. I don't use mascara except for maybe a clear mascara. Thankfully, I don't need it. It takes me less than five minutes to do my makeup. My DD until new job didn't wear makeup except on a rare occasion. Now she is like you a big unwanted leap to eye shadow and mascara. Done.
If I'm not working, I wear a tinted SPF 15 moisturizer only.I do a powder foundation, some concealer, eye shadow, blush, and lip gloss. I don't use mascara except for maybe a clear mascara. Thankfully, I don't need it. It takes me less than five minutes to do my makeup.
I took dance for six years. I think the makeup needed for recitals traumatized me because when I was about 10 or so, people would say, "Oh, soon, you'll be wanting to wear makeup..." and I would stop them there and say "Nope." And it's taken me until age 19 to willingly wear makeup on a daily basis. If I'm not working, I wear a tinted SPF 15 moisturizer only.
Going to work - I add a quick swipe of blusher, eyeliner and mascara.
I flat iron my hair when I'm at home, even if I have no place to go. Mostly because I can flat iron it and keep it that way for 2-3 days, and it's out of my way. Definitely takes me longer to do that, but it's well worth it being out of my way.It takes me longer to make my bed than to fix my hair and do my makeup.
I ... would ... have ... a ... STROKE!Prepare for teenage logic: I don't make my bed on a daily basis because I don't see the sense in it when I'm going to be getting back in it 15 hours later. It gets made when I put new sheets on it or if we're expecting company.
Most of my friends have my logic. Even the ones who are no longer teenagers. Which will be me in three months, and my logic will still be the same.I ... would ... have ... a ... STROKE!
I know, I know, you're shocked.

69 was my favorite year for the Camaro. I'm working on one now. I hope to paint it this summer.
The King Cakes in Illinois cannot have anything baked into them here. Board of Health prohibits hide and go seek in food items.
Yep, last year of the first generation. Oh boy, what I'd do for an SS 396 or 427...!![]()
Which engine are you workin' with...?
ETA: And yes, I recognized it as a '69, as well, mostly by the louvers in front of the rear fenders.![]()

Ugh - it is cold! And snowy! And blustery!
And too darn early.
Happily, the boys are off to work, the door is locked, and I am back to bed.
Later, Peeps.
(Although, we know it's probably just @MinnieM123 up right now.)
Had a 307, 2-barrel, turbo 350. Now a 454 with a 4 speed. Zoom, zoom!!! :0)Yep, last year of the first generation. Oh boy, what I'd do for an SS 396 or 427...!![]()
