When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I don't doubt that it is unfair, but, I hesitate to call it an advantage. Yet another example of Canadians using another country's language to make themselves sound smarter. Fortnight, really? What? Two weeks is to complicated for you guys? When you go to Disney for two weeks is it called a Fortnight Holiday? Still shackled to the Crown Jewels, eh! :cautious: The only three things that are truly Canadian would be the words, eh, aboat and Molson's. Even Molson's came over to the good side when it merged with Coor's.
Aaaah, look at you getting all mushy and sentimental. ;)

I used to not wear any make up. Now, I wear some just to make me look like I'm actually 19. A little lip gloss and some eyeshadow do help. If it weren't for that (and the fact that for some reason my skin has gotten bad now instead of in my early teens; thank goodness one of my mom's friends is an esthetician), I wouldn't wear any, but I would rather just suck it up and wear it and have people realize that I'm actually 19 than not do it and have people think I'm 14

My DD until new job didn't wear makeup except on a rare occasion. Now she is like you a big unwanted leap to eye shadow and mascara. Done.

Bus service at AKL was always terrible. We only ever stayed there for a few days and would then go to a different resort. My dad was considering buying there, but it was a toss up between there and BLT. He went with BLT in no small part because of how far from everything AKL is.

As pretty as AKL is I'd be picking BLT too and I'm not overly thrilled with the layout of BLT but it does sit in a lovely spot.

Which is funny, because I would think that in a down economy, 18-34's have the least to spend.
Under 18's are spending Mommy and Daddy's money, and 35+ are usually well on their way to being established - ie. student loans paid off, career established, house and car already purchased.
These days a lot of 18-34s are still spending Mommy's and Daddy's money.

Weather forecast--8 inches of snow over the next 24 hours with wind chill of -14. Have I mentioned I loathe winter?

Yeah tell me about it. We got the snow today and wind chill will be -35 Tomorrow night the wind chill will be -40.
Joy Joy :cautious:

The King Cakes in Illinois cannot have anything baked into them here. Board of Health prohibits hide and go seek in food items.

So sad, Zsa Zsa is still kicking, but her 67 year old daughter, Francesca Hilton passed away yesterday.

Even worse, with Francesca out of the way, there is no one left to advocate for 97 year old Zsa Zsa, or to protect her from that big goof, Frederic von A-hole.

Absolutely. I'm sure I've seen every Suite Life on Deck and Wizards of Waverly Place.........twice. :)

I watched D ick Van reruns. I loathed over night hours Sunday nights with DS because all that was on was paid programming. Fortunately he only stayed up for about a month as he was 9 pounds already and slept through the night then.

DD 5 years later the overnight hours shows were better. She was a good baby but had her days and nights mixed up.
She stayed awake always from midnight to 6am the the 5 year old was up. I just never slept for 2 months until she slept through the night at Disney World. That trip being pulled in and out of a stroller righted her days and nights.
Worth every penny.

You really should watch your cursing. (just kidding, that word needs to be lifted from the blacklist, I'll make a note for @wdwmagic)

69 was my favorite year for the Camaro. I'm working on one now. I hope to paint it this summer.

Yep, last year of the first generation. Oh boy, what I'd do for an SS 396 or 427...! :inlove: :)
Which engine are you workin' with...?

ETA: And yes, I recognized it as a '69, as well, mostly by the louvers in front of the rear fenders. ;) :)

Well I have the day off of work tomorrow. Our school district canceled because our wind chill is supposed to make it feel like -38 to -40. I wonder what trouble I can get into? Nah, I will probably just snuggle under blankets with the dogs.

Yeah by late afternoon they all called off down here too with -35 expected. I wouldn't be surprised if it is extended through at least Thursday. I hate opening the door to let the pup out. I keep putting off starting the car out in the driveway.
