Yesterday, I wanted to do something, so I asked my brother if he wanted to go see Pets or BFG. He said no to both. Maybe he's getting to the age where, other than Pixar films, he'd rather watch the "adultier" movies, I guess. I asked him if he'd rather go bowling, so that's what we did. We got the unlimited two hour bowling. We ended up playing five games of bowling. Five. I couldn't feel it until I was walking upstairs. Then I felt it. :in pain:
Great day for you and your brother. We have done that with the grandkids. We move faster than we have thought possible! Don't ask about our scores.;)

Good almost afternoon all. Hubby spent the last fours hours getting rid of a terrible virus that infected everything on my computer. I got it from the sight that @Cesar R M warned us about. It was too late for me. But, I seem to be up and running again.

Crazy. Fortunately, nothing ever happened to my office desktop.
Glad the hubster got it cleared up...! :)

That was a horrible heat wave. We had a huge birthday party for my son that Sunday when it finally ended. My house was packed with people and the central air was no longer keeping up, plus we knew the doors would be opening and closing frequently. Should have just rescheduled it. We went to Sam's Club the day before and bought a window A/C unit and threw it in the window of the the livingroom that opened up to the other rooms of the house. Boy did that help. Over the years we've tossed that unit in a few times, might again.

But anywho about 7pm it was time for presents and I had gone outside to toss some stuff and the temps dropped like 30 degrees from the time the party started. I came in, announced we were going outside to open presents. About 35 people wanted to kill me, not knowing the nutzo weather had broken. As they all filed outdoors with a poor attitude everyone became so joyful. They stayed a lot longer just being able to be outdoors again. Never forgot that moment from family and friends all at one time wanting to harm me though, pretty funny.

My DDs car does not have A/C. I'm doing my best to pull my act together to give her mine for Thursday Friday.
Are you sure you aren't living in Colorado. Every time a storm goes through we drop 30 to 40 degrees. I always have 3 seasons, plus a coat in my closet all year long. It's crazy out here. We know this as the "new normal".

Still on the Grill. So far it is surviving. I refuse to heat the house up with the oven.

That looks so good , I fired up the oven and turned down the air. We had roasted veggies, and turkey, with garlic bread oven meal. It took only 45 minutes, and I assembled and left the kitchen. My kind of meal.

Your dinner sounded good too. My BBQ'd lasagna turned out so well. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Nothing got scorched. The tomatoes on top had this wonderful smokey flavor to them. Wunderbar! :hungry:

Currently 89 here with a heat index of 96.
Only got up to 98 here today.
Much cooler than summers here over the last several years. Those had many days of consistent temps above 102, and as high as 112, static air temp.
Don't remember what all the heat indecies were, but, I do remember seeing one area on a local weather site a coupla' years ago where it was 121.

Our indices are supposed to be 117. By the Gabe barometer that registers the nutzo level. Still better than snow and 20 below wind chills.

I'm so sorry that people come and trash your beautiful country. As I have said before, we felt so welcome in your country, and enjoyed the entertainers at the restaurant we visited. Great food and drinks. Plus the kindness we felt we are planning to come back.
The tourists are local, just from another town (the big cities visitors are the rudest ones.. always).
Most of the outside tourism is well behaved (we do not have that big of a problem like Cancun, which fills with foreign teenagers looking for sex and get wasted during spring break)
