I have weird dreams too. Last night everywhere I went I was surrounded by snakes. I get that one but the night before was just bizarre. I was in a strange house and couldn't get out. Dead people sitting inside. I've dreamed that many times.

My most common dreams are tornado dreams and flying dreams.
The tornado ones are never really terrifying, because somehow during the dream, I'm about 90% sure it's just a dream. But, there are always dozens of tornados surrounding me and alternately touching down and lifting back up. Just when I think we're in the clear here come 4 more from different directions. I only remember one where there was actually some damage to our house, but, we were all OK.
The flying dreams are always a blast! Either me flying like a bird, or on a plane. :cyclops: ;) :)

I posted this exact same thing to my Facebook, so apologies for the duplicate to those of you who are my Facebook friends (and to the others of you who aren't - why aren't you??) ;)

So, in the impossible things happen every day department, before my health insurance ran out at ICM, I went and had every imaginable test done - blood, ekg, echo-cardiogram (if that's how you spell it) , the dreaded prostate, and several others. Today were my results. I was 100% certain that I was going to go in there and be told I had 17 kinds of cancer, polio, coronary artery disease, a heart that could collapse at any moment, a liver that they were unable to locate, and acne.

Imagine my total shock to find out that I am basically in perfect health. I was like, "errrrrrr......what?! Even the liver?" The doctor laughed and said there were no issues. Apparently he doesn't know about all my trips to wine country.

Anyway, it's all good news, so I guess it's time for a drink, or a drink around the world, like last year. ;)

Congrats!!! :)
I had a similar deal a coupla' weeks ago that I've probably already posted about...bloodwork. I was prepared for all kinds of not-so-good news.
Although my blood sugar was up by 2 points, my A1C was down by 2/10ths of a point. Kinda' a wash. And, as per usual, my vitamin D was really low.
Other than that, my cholesterol was down by 50 points from 239 to 179, and kidney, liver, and all other functions were fine.
I'll drink to that, and cheers to you too...!!!!! :joyfull: :)

That happened to our very own @betty rose over smoking areas. The anti-smoking section people were trying to say that smoking should be eliminated in the parks altogether whereas those of us who have asthma realize that eliminating smoking areas will just cause people to light up wherever, which is worse for someone with breathing trouble than just avoiding the smoking areas. Then Betty came here to Niceland.
bigger drama when people knowledged that some just refused to go to the smoke areas to smoke and smoked anywhere x_x
and Cast members were discouraged to tell visitors to go to the appropriated area.

Curiously, I always get travel related nightmares when a trip has been confirmed. Not just randomly.

I again.. for the 50th time.. I dream about the same flooded airport terminal and the planes water-crashing in the half flooded tarmac and other things.
Its the same airport and I never seen it before!. Same design on all the dreams, but this time I dreamed longer... which made me finally "see" another parts of the terminal. Including being in a different floor from where I was.

Nothing like getting relief about health before going to clog our arteries and destroy our kidneys with food and wine ;) :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Chuy's sounds like its a MUST DO for anyone who lives or moves around your area. It seems always packed!

Yes, always packed, but, indeed, always worth the wait...!!! :hungry: :)

ETA: Although the original location was founded in Austin in '82, there are many more locations, not just in Texas, but in many other states, now, and more under construction. :)

Disagree on a part.
The more information the people get, the more intelligent they can start to get.
There seems to be a lot of idiotic people online because they cant simply follow logic and they have easy access to the internet to have their voice splattered everywhere.
Reminds me about this known study, where they show.. that some groups of people have the tendency of reinforcing their wrong beliefs when confronted with facts.
This part of human logic is what needs to be eradicated with education.
There's also a study that shows that the less someone knows about a given subject, the more likely that person is to overestimate their competency in it. Like, someone might insist that they are an excellent driver, even though they have limited experience. But once they get more experience, they start to realize how much they didn't know before when they THOUGHT they knew a lot. The more they learn, the more they realize there's a lot more TO learn, and therefore are more likely to say they are limited. They know what they don't know, so to speak. It's called the Dunning Kruger study. I find it fascinating.

Have any of you seen this? It has been circulating around the internet and is apparently a letter by Joan Crawford regarding her arch nemesis, Bette Davis, during the filing of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. I think this is totally hysterical. Also, this goes down in history as one of the gayest things I have ever posted. ;)
