Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Made some Minnie Mouse themed necklaces today. Well, we made lots of these, but these 2 I did with a Minnie theme...I couldn't decide if I should use the flower or the heart charms, so I did one of each. I think they turned out pretty cute...they're no minnie mouse ears like @figmentfan423 makes though!! Those things are amazing.

Yeah...mine feels like...I guess like I've gotten superglue on it. It just feels weird. But I have a question for you, it still hurts when I bump it...does that go away?

I believe that is a good sign that you still have nerves left. Pain not good at the moment :( but that it is reacting I believe is a good sign for the future. We would not want the little Minion to not have feelings ya know. :p

We had the services for my step-grandpa today. What a day. My little nephew, who is 19 months old, slipped and fell on the grass this morning. He broke his leg and now is in a splint. They are leaving tonight to get him home and to a specialist.

Other than that, everything else went well. We had the service by the grave first, then went back to my grandma's for a while. I caught up with my cousins and my cousin-in-law (nephew's mom). I played with my nephew for a bit, which meant picking up toys he dropped on the ground. I somehow was making him laugh, though, so we continued.

We had the memorial service afterward. Lots of crying during that. It was a great turnout. Everyone loved my grandfather so much. He was so sweet and dear. Everyone talked about how they adored him.

We then went to my grandfather's daughter's house. His family is really sweet as well. So many of his relatives have offered to keep a check on my grandma and help her as needed. I'm thinking I will probably need to go up and spend next weekend with my grandma. We're concerned about her. My aunt says she's basically cried the day he died and has barely gotten emotional since then. We're really worried about how she'll do emotionally after everyone leaves tonight and tomorrow. Going to call her this week and make the decision. I had a previous commitment that weekend, but if she needs me, family first.
I'm sorry about the baby, hugs to all

Good morning all. We're heading out mall walking today as a family gotta get the guys in shape LOL Our old camera died yesterday, better now than on vacation. My dh found a nice one on line and ordered it so all we have to do is walk in and pick it up while we're out. Best of all I'm the one who gets the new one, YEA!!!!!!!!! No more lugging batteries in my bag! YEA! My baby gets my old one. I'm surprised my dh isn't snagging the new one, now I'm wondering why?:cautious:

Thank you for deciphering the secret code.

So if you filled your car with veggies, why would you want to buy ol' cans of tomatoes? What's wrong with the fresh ones from the farmer's market?
I stock up on canned tomatoes for things like soups and stews and have been know to get a few dozen cases at the really good sales. No matter how many fresh tomatoes I buy they never seem to last through the week, my little guy love them for snacking. Yesterday I got 3 pounds of cherry tomatoes and 6 pounds of slicing ones and I hope that's enough

Just one? Isn't it lonely:confused:

If I buy a vegetable, I buy one. :D

Actually, (just so you won't faint ;) ), it had company with its cousins. I also bought iceberg lettuce, and an onion. So actually, I went crazy and bought 3 vegetables. I cut up each and we put them on whote wheat tacos (bison for filling,) salsa, shredded cheese, and a little sour cream. .:hungry:

So @Cesar R M and @StarWarsGirl, I need your advice. Our laptop is seriously trying to load Windows 10 and I don't how to stop it or if I should just let it go through. What is your experience with 10? Is it better than 7? If it still has bugs, how do we stop it from loading?
technically. windows 10 is an improved Windows 8, most of the bull is gone from windows 10 that was in windows 8.
But there is a lot of "my computer feels like a tablet/cellphone" things.
Also, if you do not have specialized software, you shouldnt have problems upgrading.
