Good afternoon, I spent the morning watching the hearings with Director Comey. No comment.

I saw parts of it. Had to keep walking away. Putting aside the what side of the fence anyone sits, nobody should have to have to sit there respectfully and endure slanderous and insulting remarks about them personally, not the findings. Sometimes people need to think about the words and accusations you aim at any individual that you can't backup. I wasn't so much interested in the questions as I felt badly for the Director that appeared to be on trial. Someday one of these people is going sue for slander.
Horrid behavior by our nation's leaders. I hate 'this' is becoming the norm.

Thanks, I Did take some Advil last night and went to bed as we got home at 11:30. I am stuff this morning, I told hubby if we were still in Disney we would have had to have a water park day to relax.






Yeah falling is not fun. Glad your God dd didn't have anything bad happen when she fell. That pavement can get slick, I had a couple near misses myself a couple days ago, probably during the same storm.

Hope you are doing better. Likely, she said the storms were dropping buckets of water.

it just shows the climate of the political world.
People are SICK of the lies. The empty promises..
Politics hardly changed since the creation of democracy. Always buying votes, using dirty tricks to inflate the votes (like dead men voting), never fulfilling the promises..etc..etc..


People want to see the politics to be finally accountable for what they do.
Most run scott free untouched.

What the heck? Day two of a fever with the aftermath headache. Other than that no symptoms of anything.

I don't have time for this.

Hope you feel better. It is terrible to be sick anytime but it seems as if summer sickness is even worse.

We set off the pretty fireworks, just some spark, about 3 ft off the ground, that make no noise. I don't see the need for all the noise.

When I got home yesterday after picking my dog up from my sister's house, I put her (the dog) in my backyard. I saw her sniffing something so I went out to the yard to inspect. I found a couple empty containers of some sort of fireworks. I was not happy, one had landed right next to our gas grill which is also near our door and the other was where the dog usually goes to do her business. They did not look like legal fireworks either. We have a couple neighbors that are into shooting off that sort of stuff so I don't know who to blame since we weren't home. It just made me mad that people were so irresponsible with their fireworks. It sounds like you had nice little fireworks though.

Why 4 weeks? That' crazy!

It should not have. Likely 2 weeks. I really really like this man, best and fairest mechanic we have had. He always has options to offer that are cheaper when possible. Plus he is a good guy. I think he is swamped and cause mine had some real issues he just kept working around it. But 4 weeks crazy.

Yep. I was in our Gazebo in the yard early evening before heading to fireworks. My neighbor with the belching boys was shooting off fireworks, they are all illegal in Illinois. But he wasn't shooting off what would be considered amiture firework for homes. He had those big classic ones for fireworks shows. It had to cost a fortune. I could hear all the fallout hitting my Gazebo and I am 2 doors down.

Hmpf. Now I should have gutters looked at. Wonder what landed in there?

Son in law, had a bucket of water, just in case. We all went out into the street to pick up the container's, and washed the street down with the hose. We left no mess. Older neighbor's came out to see the pretty fountains, it's the only legal fireworks in DD town. We all had a great time without bothering anyone.

I'm so sorry. We have very strict laws, about noise and fireworks size. I'm glad.
