Place: Phil's house

At rise: The TV is on and Wheel of Fortune is playing as Phil and Buddy get ready to go out to dinner. One of the prizes on Wheel of Fortine is an all expense paid trip to Orlando, with a stay at the Orlando Hilton.

Buddy: Why can't I go to the Orlando Hilton???

Phil: because you're never going to Orlando again!!!

And, scene.

Phil, Phil, Phil . . . whatever are we going to do with him? Perhaps he may benefit from counseling? o_O

My doctor was the founder of that, but it goes into your skull right? I'm allergic to metals, including surgical steel. I wonder if they have moved to plastic. Not sure about that, Disney's magic bands, no matter how large I make them causes a rash and itching after a day. Now I just carry it in my pocket.
Wait...I thought the magic bands were like a rubber material? I can't wear a watch because the back is metal and I break out. It worked for years to put nail polish on the back, but that stopped working about a year or so ago. Am I going to have a problem with the bands?

I took four years of French, but like everything so long ago, if you don't use it you lose it. Mostly I have "lost it". Hey, that sounds really bad. Lol
Yeah, I was the same way with German. I had 3 years in high school, though I don't think you can really count the third year because the new teacher that year was terrible....fresh out of college, it was her first teaching job, and she resented being stuck in podunk nowhere and she thought we were all hicks from the sticks. She called us "you people" and thought we weren't capable of learning, so she refused to teach us anything but what we'd need to go shopping. We learned words for socks, shirts, pants, shoes, money, and various food items, and that's about it. She wasn't interested in teaching us anything about German history or culture. She threw all the old books away that the teacher had left...they were books in old German that we had used the previous year to study the changes in spelling and writing and to learn old script. We had already learned all the stuff she taught us, but she wouldn't teach us anything new because she didn't think anything else was valuable to learn. She tried to correct a pronunciation the previous teacher had taught us. He had spent 3 months in Germany after college...she insisted she knew more than him...because she had been there for 2 weeks!
I guess it doesn't matter now. Since I moved here, I forgot all my German. Some of the words are very close, but just enough different that I had to concentrate on the Dutch, so the German went bye bye.

Bets, your pictures are wonderful and thank you!! Side note: just wanted to mention that I hope I didn't cause any confusion. It was never my intention to say that larger pictures in posts aren't as appreciated as the smaller ones, in case people didn't have time to view a lot of them. In my initial reply post to you, I was referring to just my own preference only, if I was posting a bunch of photos, (not just one or two for example) I'd prefer to use a smaller format to save space in the thread. (I think your comment above might have also been referring to @Songbird76 's post a few pages back.)

Anyway, as long as you're happy now with the smaller sized photos, that we can easily click open and enjoy, that's all that matters. :) I love your posts and I love all your pictures, no matter what size they are! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful trip pictures and fun commentary!! :joyfull:

It's all cool by me, but, if nobody minds, I'm still gonna' post full images...! ;) :)

As much as I'd love to go to V&A's just once in my life, in all sincerity, I'd far prefer your restaurant any day--my kind of relaxation and good food, with reasonable prices! :hungry:

Hahaaa...!
Yea, it's a really fun place, and I haven't noticed even a slight slip in quality or quantity over the years.
The original location is still going strong, and the location we were at on Thursday evenin' (just a few minutes from oldest DD and SonILs place) had a 45 min. wait by the time we all gathered there, but, it was worth it...! :)
