Are you having trouble from the ads? Not that I know anything about computers, but I believe some of those were big files and were freezing up screens for a number of people. Hubby did something to the computer here months ago, and I'm not having that issue now. I don't have Windows 10 on this computer, so possibly that might be another possible problem you're having? I'll bet that @Cesar R M , might have a suggestion for you. He's a computer genius. :)

No, it's not just you. I've had problems with it on my phone and tablet, both at home and at work.
Thanks for your responses. This just started when I first asked the question a little while ago. I have had "10" installed much longer, but, I didn't want to rule it out.

I'm taking my own advice and going for a nap now. Then an early dinner. A couple recorded cooking shows and off to bed. Yes, my life is boring since I came back. But, I really need the sleep and the same old, same old. At least for the next couple weeks. It takes longer to recover from so much fun. That's okay. We are adding to our experiences with the family. We got anniversary buttons for our 48 on June 1st. That was a fun day too. We celebrated at Hoop Dee Doo Review. We were all there, the kids, and grandkids. I hope hubby got some good pics. I know daughter did. I may have to e mail her. We were having so much fun, that we didn't take too many. My all time favorite place to celebrate an anniversary. The CM's were great and played along with us. I can't wait until the 50th. We plan on celebrating there.

Congrats on your 48th! I'm just glad that you didn't come back with any illness like you did this past winter! We are going to the Hoop de Doo this trip. I haven't been there in many, many years and hubby hasn't been there at all. It should be fun!

Then, he did a blow into a tube test to test my lung capacity or something. I guess as the town drunk, I should be familiar with blow into a tube test, but since I do not drive, not so much. But I blew into the tube and was told I passed that one with flying colors.
I think that may have been a peak flow meter. It's not really to test for lung capacity per se. It tests how well you're breathing. Asthmatics such as myself use them on a regular basis.

I wouldn't think 10 would be the issue.

You could try a different browser to see if that helps. For instance, you could try Firefox if Chrome is running slowly. Just don't use internet explorer. Or Edge. Not that I've tried Edge very much because I'm happy with Chrome, and also because I don't quite trust it yet.

I'm currently using Firefox and have been for years now. Like I said, I have no problems with other sites and, like now, for instance, I am having no problem with this one.

I'm having an awful time on this site. It is the slowest I have ever seen it. So, since I just started using Windows 10 a few weeks ago I have to ask again, is it a problem for everyone or just me. It is freezing up constantly, but, I don't seem to have that problem on other sites.
I am having that problem, too. Using Chrome on Windows 10. It is driving me nuts! Especially when I am typing something and there is a horrible lag. Like right now.

What browser are you using? Google chrome seems to do best for most websites.
Firefox lags a lot on certain websites but you can speed it up with adblockers.

and Stay away from Internet Explorer AND Safari.
They're POS.

I've only had problems when doing trip reports and when I start uploading pics, and then my computer always starts freezing and getting slower and slower until I finally have to reboot.

Believe it or not, It might not be 10 itself, but the updates. Windows automatically installs the patches you want it or not. Thats what I hate of Windows 10.

Sympathy like. Red wine and beets are supposed to be good for lowering blood pressure or so I've heard. I can't believe he prescribed pills so quickly because when my dh's pressure and cholestorol started to go up he was put on a diet before trying pills. BTW the diet worked and he doesn't need medication
I took your advice and had beets and wine (and turkey and broccoli) at a local diner tonight. :)

You might want to open your "Task Manager" and check how it behaves.
If applications and background stuff is eating 100% of your ram capacity... something might be wrong there.

Example of my task manager.
Note I'm using 33% of all my ram. (I have 16Gb)

Are you using any extensions?
In the triple line mini button (top right), click on MORE TOOLS then on EXTENSIONS.

Check if there are suspicious extensions. There are many "free" tools that can slowdown your browser because they are more busy throwing you Ads than actually do what they are supposed to do.

Youngest DD landed a position today at the same school oldest DD teaches at. She won't start until August, but, has a full-time babysitting gig lined up 'til then. So proud of her...!!! :)
So, we all went out for a celebratory dinner at Chuy's...! :hungry:

Some interior shots... :)

There were 5 of those circle screens.
And yes, we checked 'em all for Hidden Mickey's, but, no cigar.

On recommendation of the most interesting man in the world... ;)

Chips, salsa, and creamy jalapeño dip... :hungry:

I ordered the Stacked Enchiladas. Just like the Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin at Applebee's, this is my go-to dish at Chuy's...!!! :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

I have no idea what made them do that. A strange potty training incident to me. But, who knows why someone would do that. Just people doing stupid things. I can only imagine, what CM's encounter on a daily basis. The perils of working with the public.

Let's just say, I learned a lot about people, and myself, working at the Disney Store and other retail for 4+ years during the last recession... :cautious:  ;)
