I had a pair for a long time when I was young, I wore them a lot when I was skiing. Once there was a house, kids etc I couldn't bring myself to buy them again. Last year my Sis mailed me a pair for my Birthday, I quickly remembered how clear everything popped through them.
Last fall I went over the handlebars of my DD bike I was riding and did a splat face down into the grass. After the dazed me pulled it together the first thing I did was look for my Ray Bans to see if they were OK cause they flew off. They were. *phew*. Then I noted this nickel size deep puncture hole in my shin followed by I had knocked the chain off the bike. But all was well because the sunglasses were OK.
