That is our elementary district. K-8. The leaders of the various communities around here got together decades ago and formed a
co-op high school seeing the value of pooling funds and resources for more opportunities and diverse education. Didn't know most of these people who formed the co-op but it was very forward thinking all those years ago.

Sympathy like.
I know you don't work retail, but, I know how you feel from when I was laid off during the most recent big recession and worked as many as 3 retail jobs at a time for 4+ years just to help make ends meet. And, I was middle-aged at the time.
And, I know I've mentioned this before, but, I once went 3+ months without one single full day off. A 6 hr. shift somewhere was the least I had. Woof. How the heck I kept up with that I'll never know...
I just remember you being very very tired.

Not a great deal of height. I sit mid range on our road but not in the valley. But all of the properties are pitches to the road or to the easement at the end of the property lines, thus the ponds and lakes. My garage sits at the lowest point of the slope and also lower than the property next to us. Over the years because I have had a veggie garden on that side of the garage I have built up the ground just to the side of the garage by adding dirt each season to the garage and I also wood chip to keep moisture in and weeds out. Over the years it has kept the neighboring property water from running completely against the garage and down into the easement instead. And that is Lake Gabe on weeks like this. I now have an auxiliary pond this week on the opposite side of the back property. Upside the 60 year old tree is loving the water.

@MonorailRed and I decided to duel each other for our imagineering comp, The House Cup. We gave each other 48 hours to re-design the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Good morning it's the last full 1/2 day of the year I didn't wind up getting as much done yesterday as I had hoped.
Because my dh also took a 1/2 day and he got underfoot At least I got one pair of mouse ears made( I slightly misjudged the ear size and they're a bit smaller than I hoped ok but not exactly the perfect size oh well that will be fixed for the rest
) and some clothes put aside for the trip.I also cancelled Tiffins nobody but me wanted to eat there and it's not worth that type of money for unhappy people. I now have 2 packages booked at TH if the first night we have it booked for goes perfectly and the weather holds and we see the show I'll just change the second one to something else. Worst case 2 meals at TH
