Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
I have a sick munchkin. I have to take him to the doctor in a bit when his sister gets out of school. Poor baby is miserable with stomach ache, neck pain, a high fever and a bad headache. Woke up at 5 this morning asking to take his temp because he didn't feel good. I gave him a paracetamol to combat the aches, and he promptly fell asleep and started talking in his sleep. Hope it's just the flu and he's better next week when he has his field trip with school to the amusement park in Germany. I'd hate for him to miss that!

Oh Dear. I hope he is on the mend soon. I read your sad post to my DD wondering if she would be thinking the same thoughts as I immediately did when reaching the field trip part. She shared the same thing I was thinking.

Our school district will no longer take the students to the Museums etc that are in Chicago even though they are amazing. It is that
OMG take children in CHICAGO thing. Your school system on the other hand takes their students out of the country to celebrate the year at an amusement park. Woot! :geek:

Oy and you are not a morning person. Sorry.
That's why I do it Tuesday and Wednesday. Then I have five days in a row where I can choose to sleep in. Of course I also did it so my days off would coincide with my bestie's days off, but she unfortunately has to find another job, so....

Unfortunately, my internship is an hour away, so even though it's 9-5, the commute is brutal. Which is why I have to be up between 6:30 and 6:45. Tomorrow I might be able to get away with sleeping until 7. We'll see.

Would you like the food bill that goes with that? What quality time LOL Today one of them ran out the door right after eating lunch and the other is watching some shows he missed.:cautious:

Ha! Been there done that. Just wait till you see what room & board costs at a University these days. Something to look forward too. :(

And out the door...quietly watching TV...blessed?

Are you planning on making rope drop there?
As it turns out, my group is worse than I am about getting to the parks when it opens. So...probably not. But we're also there for seven days, and we're usually there until midnight.

Note: other than for water parks, which we have made rope drop for, the earliest I've ever been in a park was 9:20, and that was sans parents.

Good morning. Today's plan enjoy some peace and quiet for a couple of hours until the invasion. I've decided not to wear a pin lanyard and instead I'm making pouches for the pins that will fit on my crossbody bag.:joyfull: They'll be Disney themed of course and they'll will cover most of my plain black bag:joyfull: My dh is getting one with Wall E and my boys will get Mickey ones.:joyfull: They'll cost me next to nothing as I got almost everything on sale, used coupons and my dh was with me and we got an extra discount for his service for Memorial day. I hope to get started on those today:)
Pictures when you are done, please!
