I've been trying for years to talk the kids into some place warm. Son in Law loves the cold, just like @Minnie123!
Introduce him to Minnie, they may connect and then you can move to a better climate. ;):) An outsider should not be able to control the whole family anyway. Wait, it was my son in law that started our family migration to NC. At least he was heading in the right direction. If he had headed for Alaska... he would have been alone. One of the family group that moved here was born and raised in Colorado Springs.

You are so lucky to live near this. We are in the Colorado mountains, and nothing compares to that picture. Plus you are warm.

Hahaaa...!
Thanks, Bet's! We live in a very beautiful area of Texas...!

But, even as proud as I am about how much beauty there is here in Texas that so many don't know about because they've either never been here, or never researched it, I'll hafta' respectfully disagree.
I've been in the Colorado and northern New Mexico Rockies many times, and it is some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen in my life.
But yes, we are both beautiful and, mostly, warm here...! ;)

Weird, that happened on our cruise but we had just pulled into port for the day.
I think that is fairly common. I mean.. a lot of elderly love to spend their last retirement days cruising.
during my first cruise.. the Wonder was filled with very old gentlemen and ladies.. Some clearly above 80 who were still walking like nothing, enjoying what they had left.
