Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Mosquitos have been slurpin' off a' me for about a month now. I'm like my family's canary in a coal mine when it comes to them... "Dad's gettin' bit. Get prepared, we're next...!"
Maybe they like beer...? :cyclops: ;)

This mosquito thing has me a tad concerned. I had little tolerance for them before. I still have about 4 bottles of the mosquito liquid spray you hook up to the hose and knock off the little boogers in the garage. May purchase a few more for my mental health. :geek:

She has a nice large garden area and it needs to get cleaned out. She's now trying to put off getting her other hip done. I wish she'd just go and get it over with because she no longer has pain on the side that was done.

My Dad had his hip replaced in 2010. It was remarkable. So smooth. Though you would have never have known it over all his drama. I gave a great deal of kudos to the Doc's. It was everything they claimed it would be and was despite my Dads drama.

You can actually buy one of these electrical ones. Not need to hoose the entire liquid spray everywhere :O

ok I've got a little problem. Sometimes I think I over plan. I stuffed all our suitcases with stuff mostly towels and blankets and packed them into the trunk of the car just to see of they'd all fit. Good news everything will fit, bad new still 11 weeks to go:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

This morning, I went to the closet and pulled out my suitcase. It's in the livingroom.

Tomorrow, I'll throw some clothes in it.

Sunday morning, leave with suitcase at 3:30 AM. See, Figgy, you're not the only one who does suitcase planning in advance. I no longer look at packing as a "night before" venture. I'm just so organized this year, that I've just stretched it out to a TWO-day process now! :p

I leave tomorrow morning and have yet to put my suitcase/carry on together. I have my clothes picked out as of last night but I have to put them in the suitcase.

Half day for me at work. Originally I was going to work a full day then I was like, well, I'll leave at three and then I was, well I'll leave at 1. A week not thinking about work is wonderful. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get a job I like.

I guess I don't understand why people terrorized children into believing that the Americans in camps were a threat. Both of my parents were kids during all that and they both had issues with the depression in very different ways however they didn't live in fear of the American Citizens that by birth happened to be Japanese that got tossed into camps. More kids were harmed or died working on farms than at the hands of Camp people. Our school board and administration had to deal with all that adult rhetoric hoisted on their kids in the aftermath of 9/11. It was a small demographic but it was annoying to watch some adults wig out on natural born citizens here just because they could. Mind boggling.
Yeah, you see it repeating now...people are being taught to be afraid of anyone who looks like they might be from where ISIS is working. After 9/11, a friend of mine from India couldn't even walk across his college campus alone because people thought he was a terrorist. It's just so sad. And my neighbors here are all Turkish and are so nice, but if I say on Facebook that I have Muslim friends, I get called a traitor. It's all just fear mongering and it breaks my heart for the people who are targeted just because they have the same physical features of some really sick people.

Thank you it looks lovely:hungry::hungry::hungry: Which remind me time to start thinking about booking Behind the Seeds. The boys are booking it for my dh as his father's day gift.

I did the behind the seeds tour a couple trips ago. I had been wanting to do it for years, I was not disappointed. Fantastic tour, and I think one that someone could take multiple times and not be bored. But I might be biased since the living with the land ride is one of my favorite things in Epcot, despite having a black thumb!

We did it a few trips ago and really want to do it again but the boys could have care less:( This time they can do something together while my dh and I do the tour. They want to do a few Agent P missions. That's code for snacking in world showcase:hilarious:
