I saw that a few days ago in a post up in N&R. Unreal, huh? Anyway, just put that negative stuff out of your mind and focus on the fun you'll be having in just 2 days at WDW! I'll arrive there one day later than you, and I plan to be the biggest kid in the parks!!

I plan to have all the schoolbread I can hold. Along with the beer flight from Germany.

Unless, I'm confused the only difference is the upcharge next to the free ones. I did the Trans Atlantic on Celebrity Silhouette. They had at least 5 upcharge restaurants. When you went to them it was like going to an independent restaurant. You made a reservation and you paid the rate that the meal was, no credit for money already paid on the trip. The only place that was covered by the original fee was the Buffet and the Main Dining Room. I don't recall any mention of "other" things at an upcharge with either of those options. If you wanted something special, you had to choose one of the independent dining areas.. Since the food and choices were ample at the regular dining area, I had no desire to spend extra for a separate dining area.
Yeah, hence the confusion on the OASIS class.
I keep reading in quite a few areas that there are some venues that actually change according to time. And some of the free restaurants (included in the price) that do also offer "upcharge" dishes. (as in additional cuts with additional cost).

I'm going to stalk the cruise critic forums and other forum sites and see what I can find to clarify this.

I'm so excited for you. I've been thinking about you this afternoon. Stay away from guest relations, and you aren't pressured to do anything. Don't book any off ship excursions, they can be rained out sometimes. I'm not sure you would get your full money back in the fine print, it may say no money back. We had fun and never booked anything. Plenty to see and do on the islands, or your home country Mexico. We cruised east and west. Both sides beautiful . You will get amazing sunset pictures.View attachment 141607 We didn't have our good camera then. Oh, I forgot to mention the flow rider....it's like surfing on the ship. You have to see it to believe it. We never tried it, a lot of people did, and most fell. That's the fun of watching! Have the best experience ever. Let me know if we need to book next year. It was a toss up this year with Disney. If June is bad, we will bank our airline miles. And try to take another cruise in October. Good luck, and I hope you have an amazing time!
Air plane tickets bought!

This one was tricky as hell. if I purchased from the same airport, it did cost way more on all the dates I wanted. and I did not want to stay that much time in miami or fort laurendale.
So I had to purchase separate single trips (PVR to MIAMI and then FLL to PVR). Saved good 300 USD using that.

Also, what do you mean stay away from guest relations? they want to shove extra things at all costs?
are the on ship excursions covered for rain and other things that can block it?

Now I will need you all to pray that I do not get a hurricane on the dates I wanted lol XD

and yes, you get beautiful sunsets on my side (pacific). PVR specially has wonderful areas to watch it.

This is why we can't have nice things
Seen it before, amazing about the culture and education diferences.
No surprise the Chinese President was trying to get these BAD tourists chastised and giving proper protocols to tourists going abroad.
The worst was these tourists using the bedflowers as toilets when there was bathrooms everywhere.

Also, not happy at the classic racism in the comment section of that site.
While I agree that this is deplorable. I dont think many of these chinese grew with full education and etiquette standards as most tourists.

Mosquitos have been slurpin' off a' me for about a month now. I'm like my family's canary in a coal mine when it comes to them... "Dad's gettin' bit. Get prepared, we're next...!"
Maybe they like beer...? :cyclops: ;)

they dont sell those "burning scented" rings that repel and kill mosquitoes? (google calls them "mosquito coil")
they are very effective here.
