So I got Guardians of the Galaxy for Christmas....never saw it before. But I thought it was brilliant. It puts the 1, 2 and 3 Star Wars to shame.

The music was pretty awesome.

I really hope they find this one. So strange, so close to the anniversary of the last one. Need to know if it is poor mechanics or worse. At least there is a tighter window of time when this one went off radar.

So sick of Christmas music. I've got an iPod with earbuds.

It was about an hour straight of Michael Jackson.

speaking of deja vu.
We went to see a pirotecnics castle and concert downtown.
They were blasting Michael Jackson songs between bands.
Also the bands were horrible.
Mick Jagger wannabes with zero voice skills.

Also the castle and piro was very good, lasted 15 mins.!

You know what a corrupt country gets you? higher prices of oil despite the lower price worldwide.
The government refused to lower the prices.. we;'re pretty much paying the bills of the corrupted leaders of the company.
They even purchased a multibillion insurance in case the oil was less than 70 USD a barrel.. where did it went? noone knows.. But we're paying like 1.4 USD per liter

Speaking of corrupt countries, we rented The Interview. It was good, but then again I liked Pineapple Express and This is the End. I like the James Franco/ Seth Rogan combo.

Did you at least find Angelina Jolie mesmerizing?

For the character she portrayed, she did it well. As I watched the movie, I thought to myself that if they didn't have a well-known actor like Angelina, the movie probably would not have done very well in ticket sales. It was an o.k. movie, but will never make it to my favorites list.

I paid $1.98 today before heading to my Moms. First time I've seen it below $2.00 I believe I've seen we are the highest in the nation, if not we are right up there. It is 'cause we have both loaded it down with additional taxes and we require a different mixture than most states causing it to be more expensive/specific to our own politicians.

Nope. We're higher. I think a "low" this week was around $2.27 in MA.

Ha! Walt loves to chew paper and cardboard. It seems to satisfy his craving better when he steals it too.

All I can suggest is more exercise daily. Walt tends to get into more mischief when he doesn't get two good walks in a day and then finds something else to do with his energy.

What you said is absolutely true for normal dogs. But it won't help Jack, in that sense. He's stubborn and single-minded: it is his mission in life to get himself into the maximum amount of mischief that he can. The worse the offense, the more he triumphs in the moment. And, he continues upon this wayward path, why? Because, in his twisted mind, he can.

There were also some very bad thunderstorms that they were flying into, so that angle is also being explored.

I've gotta ask....balance it on seat in car? What is in the cup holder?

Ha! Welcome to my world. So, when we bought the (used) car last February, there wasn't an owner's manual. I recall looking for anything resembling a cup holder in that car and never could find anything. So I'd put the covered cup on the passenger seat and sort of prop up things like my purse against it, so it wouldn't tip. Yet, a number of times I'd go around a tight curve or whatever, and the stupid thing would still tip over and spill a bit. (Luckily, I only drive early on the weekend mornings; if this was a daily thing, it would have been worse. )

Finally, about 4 weeks ago, I bought this portable tray gizmo with compartments (including 2 cup holder slots) and I now have that on the passenger seat. It's sturdy, and I put the travel mug in that and no more spills.

Now here's the best part: just last weekend, I noticed a little indentation at the bottom of the dashboard area. For the heck of it, I pressed it and voila! Two collapsible cup holders popped out!

Didn't before bank bailouts here. I changed banks after 25 years because of it. Mine is free. So are the checks I don't use.

I've also changed banks a few times. My two banks that I use are both fee-free. (For the puny amount of money I have in both, I'm surprised they don't ask me to shut down the accounts! I'm probably costing them money! )
