Speakin' of gas prices, it's as low as $1.79, just a few miles down the road.

I paid $1.98 today before heading to my Moms. First time I've seen it below $2.00 I believe I've seen we are the highest in the nation, if not we are right up there. It is 'cause we have both loaded it down with additional taxes and we require a different mixture than most states causing it to be more expensive/specific to our own politicians.

And I think we are now done with the holidays after today. My DH also came home from his Moms with various gifts, signs of regifting from His evil BIL/SIL combo to my Kids. Either they are careful to inspect the regift or they're sending a message to my kids. I couldn't do that to his kids. And they wonder why my kids are so done? Ahhh...done until babies Christening.

So I got Guardians of the Galaxy for Christmas....never saw it before. But I thought it was brilliant. It puts the 1, 2 and 3 Star Wars to shame.

Yup, last June, there was no WDW Magic and no Netflix after midnight. At least the internet here works late at night.

I won't drive out of my way for better prices however I do avoid the ones that consistently are higher. Today I paid attention because I heard news reports of some areas falling below the $2 mark in N. IL and our county has less taxes than most. I try to purchase from one of the 3 gas stations in my town 'cause if I have to pay the local tax or county tax I may as well have it go to my town and my county.

I'm braced for this momentary bleep to blow up though.

I didn't realize a camera had been set up in my kitchen, but I knew he stole the pizza even without the film!!

Speaking of that varmint, a few of the Christmas cards I hung up on the wall fell down yesterday. I came downstairs and saw little pieces of chewed up paper all over the place. He's a jerk, and never shows any signs of remorse when he misbehaves.

Ha! Walt loves to chew paper and cardboard. It seems to satisfy his craving better when he steals it too.

All I can suggest is more exercise daily. Walt tends to get into more mischief when he doesn't get two good walks in a day and then finds something else to do with his energy.

I really hope they find this one. So strange, so close to the anniversary of the last one. Need to know if it is poor mechanics or worse. At least there is a tighter window of time when this one went off radar.

Well, they shut off the Christmas music by the pool and now seem to be playing nothing but Michael Jackson.

Ask them to change it. They, have different loops at WDW resorts they must have them there too.

Phone toy is still not at the top of my list, but I did buy a new travel coffee mug that I really like. It has a spring mechanism that you press, and it opens just a small hole, enough to let just the right amount of coffee come out. I really like it; up to this point, I kept spilling my coffee (even a regular covered cup from Starbucks) if I tried to balance it on the seat in the car.

I've gotta ask....balance it on seat in car? What is in the cup holder?

A good friend of mine married a widower. She was 35 years younger than him when she married him in her late 20's. Had 2 kids, he already had 6 by his deceased wife. She is younger than some of his first set of kids. She is now a millionare many times over. He has been gone 8 years now. Her DD just moved onto my road, 23 years old in her own home.

Reminds me of my Dad finding $3000 in the coo-coo clock when he was trying to fix it when he was a boy. Who the heck had $3000 in the early 40's? Let alone in a clock?

Yep, we've given and received restaurant gift cards many times.

But I like the idea that the person is taking you to a meal, a nice social touch there.
