You look great in both pictures!
My grandson's saw the earlier picture and asked grandpa, if he was married to a different person at the beginning. So funny, when kids tell the truth. That's nice of you to say, but sometimes I wonder where the time has gone. At least, hubby is aging with me at the same rate, so all is good. And we have so many same experience's to share. He doesn't look older to me, and he see's me in the same way. Maybe that's why people say "love is blind", in your older years it's so true. Literally!:joyfull::joyfull::inlove::inlove:

Except for the gray hair and the glasses not much has changed, you are a very attractive looking person, then and now. Makes me kinda wish that I hadn't posted mine. I didn't weather near as well. Thanks for looking for the picture. Just amazing!
You are being very sweet to me. You know the camera can be flattering or not. I see me everyday in the mirror. It's not a pretty sight. Just reality. I'm just glad to be alive. As you should be, you are such a strong person dealing with the pain you have been through. I admire that in you. We all have good things, about us as we age. You look good to me. We can't judge what we looked like so many years ago. I'm just glad to get up each day, sometimes slowly with a lot of pain, and walk it off, as my son in law likes to say. That has been my motto, as of late, I joke every morning, when the old bones, creak......I'm going to walk this off. Funny enough, I do. A couple cups of coffee and a 16oz. bottle of water doesn't hurt either. Yes. We are a crazy family of water drinkers!

Yep, it gives it a bit of a kick, don't it...? ;)
It's funny, at a club here back in the day, they used to have a barber chair shot station. They'd just just lean you back in the chair and pour it from the bottle straight into your mouth. 151 was my usual poison...!!! :joyfull:  ;) :)
I would love this for the dentist. Do I hate going there? You bet I do. His assistant is passive-aggressive. He laughs, when he hits a nerve. I've never been to this dentist assistance with out that happening. The last dentist, this never happened. Maybe I should look for another place to go.

Yes, it's a very gorgeous and relaxing part of my drive to and from the office. Unfortunately, it only constitutes about 4 miles of my 15 mile drive each way, and the 7 low water crossings flood it out during/after a heavy rain. But, Sooo much beauty along that little road, though...! :)
Be cautious crossing flooded roads. Those things always scare me.

OUCH! The first time I saw Aerosmith I paid about $20 for the ticket. I got it off a friend of mine who got grounded and was happy to get anything for it at the last minute

The first concert I ever went to was for the band Boston. If I remember correctly, I payed $5.75 for an arena level ticket. And I remember the smell of a certain herb being quite heavy in the air. But, that was back in '78...! ;) :)

You have aged beautifully. I would never have guessed your age.
That's sweet, but camera's can lie. Unfortunately, the mirror doesn't. I'm okay with that. Growing up on a farm, you see a lot of life and death, and aging. It's part of life and I accept it. My mother never did, but she was too worried about what people thought. Life is way to short to do that. I have someone that loves me, and I love him . I'm good, if life changes.

I have been very lucky, even though I have put my body through hell over the years between smoking and overeating I sometimes think I really don't deserve this luck. It is starting to catch up now, but, still physically, at least day to day, I'm pretty good. I just got back, as you know, from Europe where I must have walked a gazillion miles a day, I don't have any arthritis. I don't wake up in pain and still feel pretty much like I did years ago. Even the bad stuff that I have like the Prostate Cancer are still so minor that I have absolutely no way of knowing that I have it other then what they told me. I play golf once a week, sometimes two or three times. My skin is finally starting to thin. My daughter mentioned the other day that she could see all the veins in my arms popping out. Well, the skin doesn't hold them down anymore nor are they being covered with fat, but, I haven't lost much muscle mass just a lot of fat. I don't expect it to last a lot longer, but, until it does I'm going to take advantage of my good fortune.
