Becoming lactose intolerant was really hard for me as I love dairy. It was a fairly quick progression from stomachache to vomiting and severe distress. I am of the extreme varity. However, they now have lactose free cheese and some hard cheeses I can eat with no problem. I still can't drink lactose free milk. I also can't take Lactaid pills without getting I'll. There's no explanation.
They have found a correlation to chemo--which I had years ago--and a form of lactose intolerance. Getting old is no fun. Yet, as they say, "It's better than the alternative.
As to almond milk, most varieties are only 2% almond. The rest is filler. Because of this, my daughter is now doing coconut milk. She does eat tons of organic almond butter. She is the vegan. I am still just vegetarian. I did finally find a veggie burger with no soy or rice, and it's actually good.
I can't tell you where to eat at City Walk. We've only eaten at Mythos, Finnigan's, Mel's, Hard Rock, Three Broomsticks, and Leaky Cauldron. We're going to try Confisco and a couple of quick service on our upcoming trip. Even though it's not normally necessary, unless it's crowded, we make reservations for Hard Rock. I also made one for Confisco. There's no credit card required for any uni ressies. I found it easier to use the website over the phone. Sometimes they simply don't answer.
The best character meal we've ever done, as far as atmosphere/interaction was the Grinch Breakfast during Christmas. Food was fine, not great.
I love coconut milk:hungry::hungry::hungry: I even use it in my coffee. As for veggie burger I make my own, it's so much easier to control what goes in them. My all time favorite veggie loaf is one made with chic peas sauted pepper and onion ground walnuts and flax seeds and a bit of brown rice flour. I can't do gluten either but can do a bit of rice flour.

Sounds good. The one I have has mushrooms, carrots, onion, peas, celery, bulgur wheat, oats, walnuts, potatoes, sea salt, sunflower oil, safflower oil, and garlic. All ingredients are organic. It does have gluten though.
I need to try to make my own. But, these are good for a quick lunch.

I make very large batches when I make mine. Keep some out for the week and freeze the rest. The upside of having a vac sealer, cook once eat over and over, or at least until my boys find the food:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Cool I wish I could see one of your designs built. Glad you get a short day! The unexpected ones are the most fun.

Thanks, Bet's! :)
The style is not really my cup of tea, but, I can appreciate it for what it is. The important thing is that the client likes it, and on my way home I got a text from the partner that they did. He emailed them a PDF (pic) of it. :)

And yes, even though it was already Half-day Friday, the extra two hours off is even better...!!! :joyfull: :)

Drinks on me tonight. I didn't say anything because I thought there was enough to worry about with kidney stones and bladder infections and everything else, but I found a lump in my breast Friday and I had a mammogram and an ultrasound today and all is clear. It was a swollen duct, but it's all normal, healthy tissue. So I'm celebrating.
Count your stars with a big sigh of relief. Still sounds painful.

The back road route looks nice to me. But you really shouldn't snap pictures and drive at the same time, naughty naughty!;)

I think you should go. It always helps to talk to others going through similar issues. You are not alone, here or there, and you are always welcome here. And, yes, we're your friends! :) Now, go make more friends and come back and tell us about it. The best of luck! You'll be fine! :)
