Snow White really is great! Classic movie, (which I have a lot of nostalgia for), and an awesome new ride!

I agree. I grew up going to Disneyland and never met her in the park. As an adult, I met her for the first time at Akershus. I was starstruck. There is something about all the primary colors too. As much as I dislike her voice, I love her outfit!True, but the voice really sets me off. I do however like meeting her at the parks and riding 7DMT.
Mine too. She was the first. Without her success Walt would never have thought about doing another Princess movie. Especially since he mortgaged everything he had to get it done.I love Snow White. She is my favorite princess.
I absolutely LOVE Adriana Caselotti's voice for Snow White. It is, indeed, to me anyway, classic, and fits the character perfectly.
But, I'm also an older dude, too.
I know Betty Boop she's in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and I saw her at Toon Lagoon when I was IOA when I was there last time I thinkEveryone has to remember that the production of Snow White started in 1932, the time that Betty Boop (if any of you young'uns know who the heck that is) was released. Due to Betty's popularity, Snow White was originally sketched based on that. Walt didn't want her to portray "that type" of woman so he made her looks more pure. As to the voice, do you really think they had a super stereo recording studio back then? That was the sound of the day because Betty Boop sang in her cartoons. Just a history lesson. Give it fifty years and you'll have people saying The Lion King is horrible.
Fun & Fancy Free is horrible for me well at least the Bongo part I do how ever like Mickey & the Beanstalk. So I have seen 30 out of 53 Animated films (real one, not the sequels) I don't remember a couple of them and I never heard of some of them. Make Mine Music? Fun and Fancy? Even if the list I saw was true?
True! Good point.Possibly, though we must not forget she is like what 14?

That is true! So she is very special. I always liked her connection to animals and that she ran a tight ship with the dwarves. To me, she was a very strong female and maternal.Mine too. She was the first. Without her success Walt would never have thought about doing another Princess movie. Especially since he mortgaged everything he had to get it done.
Oh, I am so with you! Thank you for saying it before me! I thought Snow White was ugly when I was a kid. I have every single princess in a Barbie doll-type form...except for Snow White.Don't call me crazy, but... The thing that bothers me about Snow White is her looks. She doesn't look princess-y at all. Her dress is horrible, her hair is way too short... isn't she supposed to be the fairest in the land? She could have been a beauty with a simpler, not tri-color gown and longer hair (a la Aurora, kind of).
I never judge people by their looks in real life, but when it comes to SW, I can't help it. This has annoyed me all my life!
My voice was lower than that at 14.Possibly, though we must not forget she is like what 14?
I like all the versions of Snow White. I love that this one is a Momma lion for her daughter.Oh, I am so with you! Thank you for saying it before me! I thought Snow White was ugly when I was a kid. I have every single princess in a Barbie doll-type form...except for Snow White.
My great-grandmother gave me this porcelain Snow White doll when I was 10 or 11. I've always felt guilty because of how ugly I thought that thing was, yet it was a gift from my great grandmother, who I adored. It used to reside in my room, and for a long time, I never voiced how ugly I thought it was. Then I finally got tired of looking at it and feeling guilty every time I looked at it, so I moved it to my parents' basement, which is Disney-themed. I don't plan on taking it with me when I move out. I will probably pass it down to my daughter/granddaughter, if I have one, otherwise, I'll pass it along to another one of my great grandmother's descendants.
Of course my dislike of Snow White also stems from her being so helpless and being unable to do anything for herself besides clean. I don't mind her voice, but her inability to do anything to change her life irritates me. Much prefer Once Upon a Time Snow White, who ran from the queen, became a bandit, and eventually, took back her kingdom.
Oh my!
I've never seen ANYTHING like that in my life...!!!
Everyone calls me Snow White, so I have a soft spot for her.I love Snow White. She is my favorite princess.
Yea, it might have to do with the time in which the movie was made. Really, we could track the perception of women in society by how we portray Snow White don't you think? Discuss! My voice was lower than that at 14.

I assumed that's how you saw her. Sorry.Oh my!
