Yea it looks like a full day of school tomorrow! It was some crazy weather here Snow then ice then rain and 50, now it's dropping and the rain might end as flurries. There had better be a full day tomorrow I have a few things I'd like to get done, one of which is getting out and walking with my friends early in the morning. I hate snow days and my younger ds was on the phone most of the day when he wasn't bothering his brother.:hilarious:
Isn't that what snow days were invented for? An opportunity to bother your siblings? I mean...when you're at school all day and have homework and activities and a social life in the evening...combine that with the necessary amount of sleep each night, and it doesn't leave you a lot of time for sibling torment. Snow days are the ketchup days!

This reminds me of a funny story. DD had some really good caramel lip gloss that she hid under her bed. Well, Freddie our little doggie found it, broke it open and ate all of it. He didn't even get sick with all that stuff!;)
Why did she hide it? I carry my lipgloss everywhere...I have one tube on an end table next to "my spot" on the couch, one in my purse, one in my jacket pocket, and one that goes from my nightstand to my pants pocket during the day. But I've never felt the need to hide it...It's not something most people would feel the need to steal. Though there was a boy in my high school who ate lip gloss...most people knew not to let him see it if they had it.

They still find time to torment each other even without extra days off:rolleyes::cautious::arghh::bawling::cry::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

The sweet valley book is: Sweet Valley Confidential: Ten Years Later. I looked it up on Amazon and I see that it came out in 2011 so you could probably get a decent price on a used one.
Oh...it's a whole new series. The Sweet Life. There are 6 books after Confidential: 10 years later. I'll have to see if I can get some when I'm in the US this year. Thanks so much for letting me know about it!!

Yes thank you and the times we wanted. I have Y&Y twice hoping one will just be a place holder for ROL dinner package
Awesome! I am kind of hoping that when they extend the hours for AK, I'll be able to move our Tusker House dinner reservation a bit later. I got the latest time available, but it's still pretty early, especially for a buffet where we won't have to order and wait for our food to arrive. I guess we'll see. I wonder when they will announce those hours.

I'm thinking as soon as they get the show running for a week or so. I'm hoping they have dinner packages for it so I don't have to fp or wait on line forever

Do dinner packages cost more? They usually take 2 dining credits, don't they? I don't mind fastpassing it if I have to. The only dinner I have in AK is Tusker House and I don't want to change any of our reservations. Hopefully I'll be able to see ROL without a dining package.

Wow...I went back and read several pages...in what world does "Educational" = "geared toward boys"? How offensive is that? And um...I don't think ANYONE is begging "please, mommy, let's go learn where fossil fuels come from!" Boys OR girls. But how is Imagination/figment geared toward boys? That was my FAVORITE ride in Epcot when we went...I was 8 or 9 and I LOVED figment.,,,went around singing that song all. day. long. My DD is 9 and is interested in pretty much everything...she's a girly girl and likes glitter and pink and princessy stuff, but she and another GIRL in her class get the best grades and they are the only 2 who are in the plus groups for every subject it's offered. In fact, DD came home yesterday and told me that they are making a new plus group for reading comprehension because she and this other girl and 2 boys in the class did so well on their exams that the level in the class is too low and they need more advanced material. To say that Epcot is boy-oriented because it focuses on education is just so misogynistic and offensive.
The unmagical day one was kind of funny, though. Obviously, if that was a real person and real complaint, she didn't do much research before she went. But...when have they EVER sold McDonalds fries at Disney? When we went in 2010, if there had been a place that had anything resembling McDonalds fries or chicken nuggets, we would have been all over it for DS who was 2 and wouldn't eat anything in the parks. I found the whole thing comical, because you can look up refurbishments on the website to make sure the attraction you are looking forward to will be open and you can look up menus to see where you can get what. And how did she not know about ADRs...and to be offended that people who took the time to make reservations have priority over someone who just walks in? Isn't that kind of the point of reservations? If she's really a travel agent, she's not a very good one. Don't think I'd trust her with my vacation planning. It was amusing reading though.

Fantasmic has 2 1 credit and 1 1 credit place. You may luck out and be able to do TH for one credit just keep an eye out when they announce them
