Margaritas around here are very hit or miss. I really love margaritas but jeesh about half of the sour mix tastes like soap. The premium ready made is OK but so not the same.

In my imagination I will live close enough to Epcot someday to Uber it home after visiting the World Showcase or AK frozen versions. I love daydreams.

Yep, I've had a few bad ones 'round here over the years, but, luckily, they're very few and far between. ;)

Hope the Florida thing becomes a realized dream, soon. :)

Congratulations to her! That's always so nice to be appreciated at work and know that they recognize how hard you work.

Thanks! :)
We were both raised to have high work ethic, and, fortunately, it seems to have rubbed off on our kiddos, as well. ;)
Also, my 3-year anni. back at the firm was on Feb. 11th, so I'm due for my yearly review which will happen shortly after we get back from WDW. Should be another decent (retroactive back to the 11th ;)) raise, as well.
We really need it to make up for those 4+ recession/retail years...! ;) :)

I love how so many movies (read Hallmark Channel ;)) have people at a country and western joint "two-stepping".
Not even close...they're just swayin' back and forth. Either, it's not important to the script ;), or the actors can't do a proper two-step and stay on script at the same time...DWifey and myself sure can...! :D ;) :)

Isn't supposed to go above 30F here today. I think it's about time that we revoke North Carolina's right to be called a southern state. With the wind whipping around it feels so very similar to thousands of days that I have experienced as a Vermonter. However, by Tuesday it's supposed to be pushing 70 degrees so I got that going for me.

Try moving to "South" Carolina. ;)

But, there's beer up here, too. And, you wouldn't have to do a beer "run" (like down there), because the temperatures up here are so brisk, that the beer will stay nice and frosty for you, even just strolling home. (No need for running home to keep the beer cold, like down there in hot Texas.)

Just lookin' out for your best interests, good buddy! ;)

Hahaaa...!
I'll still take my hot, beautiful, Texas...not only do we have indoor plumbing and A/C down here, we also have refrigerators and freezers, too :D. Plus, it has been very rare that I've ever had to make a TSSFFBR through ice or snow...! ;)

We camped in the Rockies, for over 30 years, and we never missed church held at the Rocky Mountain Campground, different pastors working toward graduating seminar, it was always so majestic and soul cleansing . You could even take your pets, I could never get over how, Freddie, our little dog that resembled Benji, was so good during those services, it seemed he would sit still and listen. The rest of the camping trip, well let's just say he would go a little wild!

Yes, way back in the day when I used to go backpacking, rappelling, and rock climbing in the New Mexican Rockies, are some of my favorite memories. Such a calming and reflective time for me, and at the same time, we were also kinda' wild...I'll just blame that on the thin oxygen and alcohol at altitude...! :D ;) :)
