Thanks for that! its our first time at Rosen Inn and only my 2nd WDW visit, first being in 2008 stayed in a villa out near kissamee (cant spell that)

we went against getting a car because i don't drive and my other half is nervous about driving over there. (we are in the UK)

SO EXCITED!

i am going May 23rd for 3 weeks (coming back June 15th) any more tips?

i think we are going to give Wet N Wild a miss as well as legoland, but definately doing Busch, Seaworld & Universal...
Get a copy of the Unofficial guide to Disney it really helps if you haven't bee in a while.

ajrwdwgirl thankyou for the link.. :) will certainly be looking at this

Goofyernmost. we live in a small village called Thatcham, my fiance doesn't like driving big roads / busy roads.. the main thing is alot of lanes (knowing what lane to be in etc) and she can panic easy. we are thinking about a car though.. we just thought that taking public transport would ease stress but im hearing this is not the case haha. our options are open though.. there is also the issue that she would like to let her hair down and have a few drinks...
OK, that makes sense. I'm sure that in an area like Orlando there are many other options open to you. Have a great time. :)

I've never had one, but every time I smell them, I think I should try one. Do I dare?
I succumbed to the same temptation. They aren't as bad as the drama seems to imply, but, they aren't all that spectacular either. If you like ham, you will like the Turkey legs because the only thing even partially like Turkey about them is the shape of the leg. Everything else is just plain, smoked ham looking and tasting. To me, not worth the cost of one, but, it will take the place of a meal and in that sense is cheaper.

One year I noticed that the price for a Turkey leg was less in AK then in Epcot. I also noticed that there are no Emu's in AK. Coincidence... I think not! (Except for the fact that they actually were cheaper in AK then Epcot, this last paragraph was just a joke)

I finally got one. It's funny, that in all the times I had been at the World since I was a kid, that I never had one. In any case, it was pretty smokey flavored - as @Goofyernmost said and was more like ham than turkey tasting. I'm not a big smoked meat fan. The other thing is that it was pretty greasy. I ate about 2/3 of it and called it done. Neither Mom nor DW were brave enough to finish it off! :) I'd say it's one of those things that you should try, but probably won't do a second time...

It was almost painless. Including getting there a bit before they opened it was only about 45. I'm all nice and renewed and my older ds has his picture ID for the trip. My dh did my ds's paperwork while I renewed much easier that way. The person helping my ds realized he was a bit slow and was exceedingly nice even more so after he found out the ID was for a Disney trip. Then it was a quick stop for craft supplies and some food. We were home by 11

Wow! That hasta' be some sort of DMV record...! ;)

Our DS is similar. He's on both the Aspreger's and autism spectrums. He's 23 and doesn't have a drivers license. Probably never will, so we keep his state ID up to date. He's very verbal, social (although he tends to blurt out awkward things), and can read like a maniac. I used to say he can't spell or do math to save his life, but, his spelling is definitely better, these days. Math, not so much. He has major issues with time and space.
He knows he's different (although we never try to make him feel that way), but seems to be mostly oblivious to it, and, mostly, OK with it. :)

Oh, and just for grins @ajrwdwgirl, here's a shot of the Cedar Park Center where the Texas Stars play. Literally, about a 10-15 min. drive from our house, depending on traffic. It's a pretty nice venue, actually, for a Texas minor league hockey team (although, they also have concerts and other events there, as well ;)) venue...! :)

That does look like a nice venue, good views for everyone.
