Today I hooked up my new Blu-ray and watched my DVD of "True Lies". God, I do so love Jamie Lee.
th
She was funny in that movie. Now when I see her I think of Activia.

should have clarified.. freezing for US.

orlando is darn hot atm, 30 C most of the days.
Still annoying how the buses have such powerful AC on.. its a prime cause of cold and muscle aches to go from too hot to too cold.

anyway,.., I happily can say that I survived the Epcot's NUKE (aka the 1 minute firework barrage finale)
insane!!!!!

will post pictures tonight since were in a hurry to go to disney hollywood studios.
and we barely slept yesterday (woke up at 4:30to catch the flight to orlando, arrived, cheked in , and left for epcot inmmediately.)

Happy you had a good NYE at Epcot and as for the weather, it should still be warm tomorrow but my DS said in the 60's and possibly on 50 degree day over the next 3-4 days. Bring a jacket, it gets cool at night.

Yum! I love the cinnamon roll French toast at Disneyland. How do you make yours?

Cut up 2 containers of cinnamon rolls (original size) into 8ths. Half first then quarter that. Half stick butter melted in glass baking dish 13x9.
Bowl 6 eggs, whisked. Then I'm not remembering the amounts (I can get them if you want them) vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup and milk in bowl with eggs. Dump the chopped up rolls ontop of melted butter coating pan. Pour bowl of liquid mixture atop and move around until buns are all coated. It cooked about 45 minute. Then the icing that came with the two packs of buns. Served with maple bacon and maple johnsonville breakfast sausage. Me, the next time I make I will add just a little less maple syrup, just a tad to syrupie for my liking but it was sure yummy. :hungry:

YEA! Mine might just stay up until Monday. Why does Christmas vacation always seem to be too short and too long at the same time:confused:

My tree is still up. So not like me. I generally take her down before NYE. Start the New Year fresh. I'm thinking Monday. I think it is how the Holiday ran into the weekend. I'm thinking Monday when everyone is out from under foot.

Just a bruised toe and a moment of "Did I just do that?" :hilarious:

My Entertainment Cabinets in my livingroom are Ebony. I keep wine glasses and my good crystal waterglasses that I decided what the heck I'm using these....So when I unload the dishwasher I open the door closet to the kitchen to ease putting them away in there (kinda around a corner from the kitchen. If I haven't turned on lights in there yet the doors just kinda blend to the semidarkness of the room as there are lights on down the hallway. As always I tend to get sidetracked unloading the dishwasher. Twice last month I walked right into the open upper door that I left open. Doh. :in pain:

Feel your pain. Be well. :inlove:

I love the old Tiki Birds. So glad it came back!

Me too, I'm fond of the Tiki Birds return. I wasn't fond of the Figment upgrades from the original either. Sometimes they work, I really enjoyed the Haunted Mansion, my favorite attraction if I have to choose. Test Track bugs me too and I find parts of SSE lacks from the Original. Sometimes the upgrades are an improvement, sometimes not so much.

Not gonna happen. Hubby isn't a pot pie fan, and he doesn't like fried chicken, so he probably wouldn't go for that one either. I had already thought of that.

I'm kinda with him. I've never been a fan of pot pies. While I enjoy a good fried chicken Prime Time has a couple other items I really love more than fried chicken even though theirs is excellent so I go for the sampler now.

Like I said, that duck was her baby! She swam in alligator infested waters to rescue him...doing diapers is nothing.

I can't wrap my brain around this. While I certainly get the attachment to pets, I have a long history with my various Pups, I can't wrap my brain around how people come to bring odd pets indoors initially. I had a friend that tried to domesticate a wolf and another a monkey. While I get the attachment, I don't grasp the initial though to bring certain animals into a home let alone diapering a duck. I just can't wrap my brain around the original idea that it is a good idea for a family or the pet.

My first Pup I called my first born. I adored her. A Shepard that was loyal to her last breath. I had her prior to children and she lived until shortly after my second child was born. I was so sad when she passed. Still even when I had her mostly without children she wasn't my baby. Loved her but still I knew she was my pet, not my baby. It is just such a different relationship, pets vs family in my mind anyhow.

The first time we encountered her years ago she cut into the front of our line at a SW M&G and the CMs let her. Not happy but I blew it off. Later that day at another M&G she cut in front of US and again the CMs let her. So I said something and she told me twice that Luke Skywalker was her husband. :cyclops:

After meeting the characters I asked the CMs why is she allowed to cut to the front of the lines TWICE. They told me why and told me to go to Guest Services and explain what happened. Which we eventually did. I didn't get much past explaining that "we were told to go there because this Linda kept cutting in line" when the GS CM said "say no more" and wrote us out two "skip the line" passes to Star Tours. That was very unexpected but it was obvious that they wrote more than one pass that day.

I remember Kelly Ripa speaking to this years ago. Their family was allowed to skip the lines when her kids were small. She had an epiphany as they aged that they were now old enough not to need to skip the lines and she had them stand in line and they initially balked. Yet though she could she had them wait cause they were old enough.

While I did appreciate that life lesson she eventually grasped and now wanted to teach, the caveat that it was OK earlier kinda rubbed me wrong as my kids did lines from infancy. That idea that it was OK when they were little and cut in front of other children the same age was kinda icky. I get privilege, it happens everywhere but it was a strange justification.
