Sympathy like! I hope you and @MouseDreaming made it through the night with no problems.

Thanks. I have power!!! From my understanding there were a few tornadoes west of us. All kinda sketchy right now. The winds were very strong. I have not gone out to see the property. Might have to go relocate my Christmas Decorations or maybe I won't have to take them down next week.

20 reported tornados according to the weather channel.. YIKES!!! D:

It was pretty but intimidating last night. There were stars peeking through but the clouds were large, low and moving at a speed as if you were watching a video on the fastest forward play. With a full moon the light was peeking through and cutting out. Should have been watching Tower of Terror movie instead of Christmas while wrapping gifts.

So, we've been having this beer at Germany in EPCOT the past couple of years and when we were grocery shopping last night....Score!!!!

What a nice surprise when things like that happen. I remember a couple of years ago my husband and I were in the liquor section and he was in the rum aisle and I was in the beer and I spotted a beer I enjoyed in Hawaii. I guess I squealed and then I started calling my husbands name to come quick. He thought something was wrong with me. But no it was just excitement over beer!

We pay by the litre so the whole gallon thing confuses me. I do know that gas usually seems much cheaper in the States, though. I think we have a lot more taxes added into our fuel costs.

Yep, but, there are plenty of taxes and other costs involved down here too. I've talked to convenience store owners that say their profit margins on gas are so low, the only reason to have the gas pumps is to hope folks also come in the store to buy other stuff with much higher profit margins.
Also, pay at the pump has even cut into that.

I am thanks. Not 100% but at about 75%, enough to get my Christmas Eve prep done and my packing for Chicago/Disneyland done. My coffee cake and my chocolate yule log turned out the best ever. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel even better. Are you ready for your trip? You are going to San Francisco right?

I still need to wrap up presents and pack for our trip, figure out restaurants and some other itinerary details, but that's about it. 3 nights in SF, 3 nights in Monterey Bay, and 1 night in Cambria (to see Hearst Castle).

You should have perfect weather while you're out here - no rain in sight!
