Did she at least look ashamed? I tend to ignore rudeness like that, too. We were walking through the city center once and a woman was walking, but was turned away, talking to someone further back down the street and not looking where she was going, PLOWED into my 8 year old daughter, who started crying in pain and she looked down at my daughter in tears and walked off without saying a word as though she hadn't just creamed a kid. SO rude. If it would have done any good to say something, I would have, but a person who can do that and NOT apologize or show any kind of remorse has no consideration for others anyway and it would be lost on them.

No remorse whatsoever. I wished her a Merry Christmas as a passive aggressive way of making sure she looked like a twit for at least not saying excuse me. Ashamed no but didn't likely know what to do with all these all people around us looking at her as she scurried away.

Your poor daughter. ouch

Oh, I thought you meant he kicked the rock at her to injure her on purpose...take out the competition. Accidents happen, though it does sound like he was a bit immature, but if he had pulled a Tonya Harding, then I would hope they disqualified them.

Yeah, the Dad was just cluelessly stupid. Still we had several issues over the year where we had teams try and beat our kids Club Team by acting unethical. One year at the Championship meet the host team removed our two judges before the start of the meet saying they didn't need them. Each team had 2 judges, they suddenly had 4. Meet delayed an hour until the Host team followed bylaws.

During the summer it was raining during a meet at night, pretty chilly. They bullpenned their swimmers indoors and put ours out in the grass. Our coach pulled all of our swimmers and put them on the bus and we went home. Then there was the conference meet where we had judges from teams that were disqualifying a good chunk of our swimmers. Was so annoyed when the dude said my son never touched the wall. He wouldn't have stopped and bounced back had he not. Horrid meet. And it isn't like any of these kids were going to grow up to be professionals. Whoever heard of a career as a professional swimmer? And only so many get to go to the Olympics every 4 years. Sometimes Big people are just too vested in their kids sports.
