Sorry, but I gotta rant again. Now my soon-to-be-ex is blaming me for our DD being sick with a cold. Because I took her to the Queen Mary event "barely dressed", which is a lie because she was wearing 2 jackets, gloves, plus the event provided this huge jacket as well for the 9-degree area, which we were only in for maybe 10-15 minutes max. I even have video and picture to prove all the apparel she wore.

I just need to remember to breathe...

I'm sure it is all your fault...NOT! What a stupid thing for him to say! There are germs everywhere, and it is cold/flu season.....

Normally, I'd be with you on that, but this is Star Wars, so...

@StarWarsGirl95 With the Hollywood premiere tonight I'm sure there will be spoilers galore tomorrow.

Most definitely.

Avoid the internet! Avoid the internet!

Nevertheless, I will still find some positive reviews reassuring...because if this film is as bad as Phantom Menace, that will be a real letdown.

I'll be seeing it Friday at the new "Reserve" theatre at the Towson Cinemark. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to avoid the internet for the next few days or just go ahead and know what I'm in for (good or bad).

Was just there last night to see Mockingjay with my friend. We almost ended up at the same theater on the same day for this. It is a nice theater. I'm also going Friday, but we're going to a different theater. I figure Cinemark will be crowded and I don't feel like fighting with traffic (or the high ratio or idiotic drivers that seem to be centered in Towson).

Been there once before (for the Princess Bride showing a couple months ago), but have never been to the "Reserve" theaters. Looking forward to having food and drink delivered to my little table! Quite exciting. Meeting up with another similarly Disney and Star Wars obsessed family. I know Towson will be insane (it rivals Orlando for driving stupidity), but I wanted to see it in the best theater I knew of!

I got rear-ended over there a few months ago. And the guy left the scene. Ever since I started driving over there on a regular basis, I've been afraid that I would get into an accident, and it finally happened. I think the epicenter of bad drivers is Towson and it goes out from there. My friend referred to the traffic circle as "the circle of death" yesterday. :hilarious:

I've been over there twice now. My friends really like it. I still prefer going to the theater 15 minutes away for convenience. I haven't had the food at the Cinemark, but overall, it's a nice theater. The restaurants around the theater are supposed to be pretty good, though I've only been to BJs.

Try to get a spot on the third floor of the parking garage; you'll be able to walk straight in. And don't forget to validate your parking.

Thanks for the reminder! The one time we went, we ate at BJs as well. As beer drinkers, we quite liked it!;)

That isn't even close to "cheap out". What's insane is that anyone would pay that much money for what is basically an advertising mug. It is one of the most hidden rip offs on the planet. Put your brand name on something and then sell it for inflated prices and let them pay for your advertising. It's like articles of clothing with brand names blazoned across it. Like Calvin Cline or Abercrombie & Fitch or for that matter every Disney T-shirt ever sold. The first two are the most obvious rip offs and geared to status symbol, Disney probably more just souvenirs but $60 for a mug, that's almost stealing.

Well stated Sir!

Good morning to all you folks! We have sun today, but cool. I'll take this over the snow coming tomorrow.

Ugh. Snow.

It finally stopped raining tonight. Our River went over. Hope it pulls back before it gets below freezing. I saw worms and ants and one massively big spider right outside the door of the bank hanging down on his own string at eye level. Creepity. Doesn't he know it is Christmas and not Halloween?

We have snow coming in Tuesday. Not sure of how much.

They are saying snow by Friday. I'm hoping not. The ground is pretty warm again, maybe it will melt. The grass is pretty green again with all the rain and 60's.

Christmas 1982 it was in the low 70's. Christmas 1983 The morning of Christmas eve a low of -25. Winds gusting 41mph, wind chill of -82 degrees! This was the coldest ever. 1982 was the last year before steel embargo quotas took effect in the new year. The cold steel hitting our docks in the warm temperatures made it all sweat. I had damage claims from those ships to last me the next year with all the imported steel flooding the docks. Then in 1983 the month of December was so cold, the coldest on record for the entire month. The locks closed early that year as the ships were afraid of being trapped in the Great Lakes. Our steel was being dumped off in Montreal. What a mess that was.
