Good news: my final paper is done and turned in.

More good news: It is 70 degrees outside. Yes it is December.

Bad news: There's an air quality alert, so I can't go outside and enjoy it.:grumpy: Of course there is...

Couldn't decide if I should like this post or not. Glad the paper is done, sorry about your air. We've have bad fog for days, now with rain. Still not snow. Happy Camper.

Thanks. He is still struggling with a cough. He busted a blood vessel in his eye last night from coughing. Looks so gross.

Oh I felt so bad for my babies when they had a cough, especially when it kept waking them up. My Pediatrician recommended a stack books under the legs of their crib/bed so they slept with head elevated without having to be propped up.

I have not had my Christmas dinnerware out in years. I never know what to do with it during that month, so it doesn't seem to come out.
One year my DH was cleaning out the storage room and I saw it heaped in a pile to be tossed. At $250 for 4 place settings and I have 12 I about wet myself. Now I want to go downstairs and see if it is still there.

We use ours instead of our regular dishes for the month. So we just swap them out. But my set isn't fine china. Just has a wintery scene.

We had a great time. The band director is really good, and brings out the best in the kids. Their playing was amazing.

I was at a craft fair in a high school yesterday. There were 4 sax players preforming Christmas carols. One was good, the other three kinda reminded me of 4th grade beginning band. Sadly they were not meshing well with each other, same piece different styles. It wasn't pretty. Plus the school had tiled concrete block walls, tiled floor, pretty narrow space and they had a portable amp to project, distorted, made pretty bad sound even worse. I was actually thinking of @brifraz as I was walking the halls yesterday.

Mine isn't China either. It is an expensive stoneware, Waechterbach. This pattern was sold for many many years in good department stores and covets a pretty good price on eBay. I collected it all over likely a decade, every year picking up more pieces after Christmas. I really love it. Maybe next year I will drag it out. It does make me smile.
