They had great drinks, though, and New Years Eve every night. It was kind of amazing, actually.I may not have been there then but that still makes me feel old

I'm so happy you didn't blow away. and congrats on the great deal.Good afternoon all. It's been a busy morning. We received a 30percent off coupon at Kohl's. I needed jeans, so after much trying on, I found a pair and got them for 14.00$. That's a great price and they fit perfectly! Lucky me. We didn't blow away last night and the winds are much less today, yea! We are going to the youngest grandson's band concert tonight. I love being busy. I also started a new puzzle. Hubby saw I was getting a little down, so he brought me home an adult coloring book, with colored pencils. It's so cute...it contains food items and kitchen items in it. I'm one lucky woman!
Have you considered taking up knitting or crochet? They are also supposed to be good for the nervesMy one professor (psychology professor) recommends coloring to reduce stress.
Me? I'm not a big fan. I still can't color inside the lines...
Sympathy likeOh happy days . windows 10 has just spat the dummy and I am having to reset my PC
I hope you still have the tag. Maybe they can be ordered online. There was only one pair in the store, we looked for second. Maybe they were left over from last year. I don't care , as this pair fit!
I hope it was fun.I came on this sight late today and I'm on, late! I have the band concert in an hour. Will leave then!
I thought the same thing, my mind went right to POTCGorgeous. That log sort of reminds me of a pirate ship.
Wonderful as always. How was the food there?Day 15 of the Adventure.... November 3, (Tuesday).. Port of Call - Barcelona, Spain
I had a few free moments tonight and since it was quiet on the boards I thought I might add another days adventure.
Barcelona is a beautiful city. The target we had in mind was the Sagrada Familia Basilica. The basilica was designed and started by Antoni Gaudi. He had a grand plan and knew that he would never live to see it's completion. He started it in 1882 and spent his life working on it until he died after being hit by a streetcar in 1926. The work has continued on it and it is estimated to be complete by 2026. (and we complain about how long it takes Disney to build) It is the most unique thing you can imagine and was how we ended up with the word "gaudy". Gaudy it is, but, unbelievable. I spent most of the day there but did take a bus tour around the city (the only way we had to get there to begin with).
View attachment 122666 Four of many towers on the building. If you look toward the top, about where the crane on the rights points, you will see a shadow. That is a bridge between two towers. We were able to take an elevator to just above that level. However, to get back down to ground level we had to go down a very tight spiral staircase. 400 stairs from top to bottom. Imagine me with my bad knee making my way down, but, that I did. Took a while, but, done.
View attachment 122667 This would be the view from that little bridge. Spectacular!
View attachment 122668 I do wish that this would have come out a little clearer but the interior is as spectacular as the outside. This picture does not do it justice.

I had a hard time choosing the pictures for this portion because for the sake of the site I try to limit the numbers that I post, so just a couple more of other areas in Barcelona showing the contrast in old and new in the City. You might be able to tell that I really liked Barcelona.

Thank you for sharing and you were very cute.I recently found a bunch of childhood photos, which included my 7th birthday at Disneyland! Here are some of them (circa 1976).

These are amazing. I have a bunch like this somewhere too ---- maybe I can find them next week. My pics of Pleasure Island are insane.
I actually lost it (as in laughing non stop) when he starts punching that guy from the image lol.I absolutely love that movie! So funny. Especially the car chase with the groundhog.
considering their "meat" is 70% soy and fake vegetable derivatives.. yeah..That is not exactly a ringing endorsement for me.
reminds me.. I'm a big fan of wonton soup.I love sweet and sour too, and crab wontons.
who knows, maybe he invents a special porta-poty andwill never need diapers!Oldest Grandson saw a diaper commercial for adults on T.V. Swore that would never happen to him, only if he doesn't make to the golden senior years!
You can always claim that you're picasso and draw splatters everywhere! My one professor (psychology professor) recommends coloring to reduce stress.

I'd say the like was a sympathy like but if you're anything like my dh you look for excuses to buy computer related itemslet me guess, the last patch destroyed a lot of your settings?
I had a few issues with it resetting a lot of my settings.. not amused.
