Just wanted to post some more pics of our day at Disneyland last week. Goofy's Kitchen was just OK, definitely not worth $38.99 for adults. Although I thought $22.99 for kids was totally worth it for the character interaction. We were seated at one end of the restaurant, near the exit that the characters would go through frequently, so we saw them a lot, but each character only came by once to our table. And it was only Pluto, Minnie, Chip, and Dale. After you check in, you get to meet Goofy and take pics with him, which my daughter loved.

My dinner plate of all brown or beige food. :D Fried chicken and chicken nuggets were pretty tasty. Everything else was decent. There were other items that looked good, but I was already full after this plate.

DD absolutely LOVED the popcorn shrimp! Mac & cheese was good, too.

My dessert plate. My favorites were the bread pudding, creme brûlée, brownie, and cookies & cream tart. The strawberry thing was too sweet, the pear tart was decent, the lemon tart was good if you really like lemon, and the chocolate rice krispies treat had a weird taste.

I like the Lego Store but so does my wallet. :cautious: Talking about Legos, my order from ToysRUs came with a surprise. I had ordered a Littlest Pet Shop toy from their clearance. When I opened the package it wasn't in there but a Lego Friends set was. o_O So I called to see what had happened. The LPS was out of stock and they substituted. I informed the Legos was $6 more than the LPS and would I be charged the difference? "No ma'am, Happy Holidays!" Yes, Santa's elves are nice this year. :D

That is right. And it is delicious! Especially with a nice sauce poured over top. It is part of my family's Christmas tradition as we come from the UK.

But "pudding" is a term used in the UK throughout the year and it is used to mean dessert.
Back to the pudding topic, my dad loved Bread Pudding for the holidays. That tradition I didn't take up. Not a fan.

I don't find Disney adult beverages too pricey.
1 you are at a resort
2 I live in the NYC metro area
3 It's DISNEY and and all beverages both family friendly and adult come with a sprinkle of pixie dust.
1 and 2 dont count if you come from a cheaper mexican tourist town.
you get all the bling at reasonable price.
only thing you dont get is Disney's pixie.

Day 14 of the Adventure.... November 2, (Monday).. Port of Call - Provence (Toulon), France

Hang in there folks, only a few more days and we will be spending all our time on the ocean. Not much different to see during that time, so it is drawing to a close, but, not quite yet.

Toulon is a major military port for France. During WWII they sunk their fleet in the entrance to the harbor to keep the Germans from entering the port and/or taking over their equipment. We took a shuttle boat to the town and did a very tourist thing by riding a Train tram around to see the highlights. Most of it was invisible due to high walls and higher security. It was told to us that the first workable submarine was built there. I have no reason to not believe them, so we will go with that theory.
Other then that we didn't spend a lot of time there. We took the tour, walked around a little in the town, bought souvenirs and returned to the ship to play Trivia, eat lunch and generally goof off. Here's a few pictures of the town. Pleasant place, but, not overwhelming.

Very nice! I need to do some shopping this weekend for Legos. Hopefully there's stuff left!
