I've wanted to stay there too, but I'm always over ruled by the rest of the family. The grandkids truly think of Saratoga Springs as "home".

Well Hmpf. After all of these trips you'd think you'd get to pick every now and then.

I'm debating to sell all the DVDs and CDs I don't want anymore but I'm not sure where.

We have a store chain called The Exchange here. You can either get cash or store credit. (You get more with store credit. My ex left a lot of dvds so I cashed them in for what I wanted.

17 days until Christmas!

It only goes up seasonally but I have this photo in my family room right now. Cheerful and the blues are so vibrant.

Yeah, she didn't want to go to the orthopedist this morning. The upper part of the 4 toes are bruising. The side of her foot has a little lump and that area hurts the most. That is exactly where she broke it once before along with knocking off the tendon off the bone. She wants to wait a few days to see if it gets better on its own. She used the railing to get herself down the staircase at her apartment. Curious to see how she gets herself back up there. She can always stay here until she decides what she is going to do. 3 out 4 times she broke that foot was just before Christmas.

Always the same foot. She doesn't know how it happened 'cause the basket that is under her bed was not sticking out but that is what she ran into when she fell. If it is broken again I'll need to rent a wheelchair or ECV for a few weeks. We have way too much to accomplish for her to hobble around.

I will give you my opinion once I get back.
Old Key West seems for what I see on the photos.. your typical "golf course" type private hotel.
For businessmen and their families.

Retro wise, more families of the 1960's. Of course OKW is retro with a spin of the 21st century. Similar to where we stayed for the spring when I was growing up in South Florida. Full rental apartments. We stayed in the same apartment in the same resort every year.

Thank you. I really try not to post too much about the carp going on over here, but it's gems like these that I've been dealing with constantly and I need an outlet and support. My therapist thinks I've been coping better lately, but I tell you it's a huge effort. I will be so happy for my week with DD during Christmas break! Not sure if I've posted our plans yet - we'll be spending a few days in San Francisco, a few days in Monterey Bay, and then probably one night near Hearst Castle. Can't wait!!

Sympathy for him being a poophead. Been there. Recently I went around and around with my ex about a boat he had on my property. It's sat there and sat there. Finally I decided to repurpose that area and gave him a few months to move it. He didn't and I made arrangements to haul it away for scrap. Long story short, we ended up going to court. The court stated that in the divorce papers anything left by him was considered abandoned and I could do as I please. BUT they ruled that he has been buying a license/title yearly for it so "technically" I can't dispose of it without the title in my name. He has sixty days to find it a new home or the title is forfeit to me. If he would just have moved it in the first place it would have been soooo much easier.
