Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Had the following conversation with my dad
Dad: *brings up Downtown Disney*
Me: It's not called Downtown Disney anymore. Disney Springs, remember?
Dad: Next trip, we'll go to MGM and then to Downtown Disney.

:hilarious::rolleyes:

Yeah we still lean towards calling it MGM. Downtown has been so so many names in my DS lifetime, doubt Springs will be the last.

I still love this show. They sure costumed her in trendy clothes.

Yes...I'm almost certain it is hormonal with me too. I know it has nothing to do with food triggers. Been through all that testing. Stress might play a part but doesn't seem to be a direct trigger. A lot of times, it is my body fighting off an illness. I don't seem to get sick the same way as other people in my family. The viruses seem to manifest as migraines. I don't think that's it this time though.

My triggers are definitely stress and not enough rest, and occasionally flashes of light. As far as I can tell, food and caffeine don't make much difference. I also used to cry through the pain and wish I could chop off my head. It's crazy how debilitating they can be. :in pain:

I've never done a cruise, but think that I would prefer to just take a two week trip and visit various parts of Spain. Probably Andalucía, Madrid, and Barcelona since those are the parts that would speak all or mostly Castellano (although they also speak Catalán in Barcelona).
why not? we had a great time on a cruise, perhaps you just need to experience it at least once :D

I've had it it's 25 horrid way too cold degrees here! I hate the cold! It looks like I'm going to have to pull out the fleece leggings to put under my sweat pants, I'm also going to need a long sleeved T to go under my sweater and sweat jacket. Hat, gloves, scarf, coat way too many layers as I'm going to look like the Michelin guy so @MinnieM123 please take all this cold to your house. Thank you xoxo

On another subject, @figmentfan423 , I thought I'd try to make a small attempt at eating a little healthier. So yesterday, I went to this place that has a farmer's market on the weekend. Figured I'd buy a bell pepper or a tomato or something, from a farm-fresh (perhaps organic?) stand. Well, I got there and it had shut down for the season. :confused: So I just wanted you to know that I tried. Drove over to Walgreens and bought a bag of M&M's instead. :D
It's the thought that counts:confused:

I love bread and butter too! Any kind of bread, and real butter. That was one of the things I missed at AoA , they changed from having real butter available to smart blend. Those plant sterols are really bad for your joints. I was feeling the effects by the end of the trip. No more of that for me!
Sympathy like. Have you tried the Earth Balance olive oil or coconut spread? You might have good luck with those and no dairy

Thanks for relating this @figmentfan423. Gives me encouragement that I might lose some weight. I found walking at the end of the day, very painful. I didn't have that in June, so I have to do much better for the next June trip. I'm hoping I will be somewhat better before January.
You can do it, just do a little bit every day, do something different every day and remember to rest one day a week. You might want to look into some exercise DVDs for seniors. Good luck.
