Too funny, first he'd have to find the kitchen. The running joke in my neighborhood is if the women ever vanished there'd be lots of deceased deer, dirty paper plates and a wood shortage due to grilling and smoking not to mention bad taste in clothes

My dh is now rethinking what to do on our just us trip. With the price of the AP going up he says we might do UNI only if Avatarland isn't going to be open by the time we're planning to go. He says it won't be worth upgrading our tickets to APs. and he can't see paying for 2 day tickets. I guess I'll just have to keep an ear to the ground. LOL that will be my excuse to spend some extra time here over the next almost 10 months

Oh, I hope he changes his mind, you were so looking forward to doing both. So sorry. Bad Disney!

No pictures allowed in the castle or in the Mauritz museum, but I can sure post pictures from the boat tour, the churches, etc, if no one else minds.

I would love to see them, another fun trip for us armchair traveler's.

Ski lodges aren't for me. I'd spend my time hiding from the snow.

I like to sit by the fire, watch the snow, and have a hot buttered rum.

I'll by cocoa's all around! Or hot butter rum for those who choose to get a little warmer!

I love the way snow looks...I just don't like the cold. What I DO like about it is being able to curl up with a book and a blanket and some hot chocolate and just relax. Which is kind of like hiding from snow....can I come along?

My idea of a great day, even if it is snowing! The more the merrier!

For the price of an 8-day vacation at WDW, we can take an 8-day Caribbean cruise with four ports of call. That is more appealling to us until they get more of the construction projects done at the parks.

Yes, after Disney raised the AP we will only do one trip a year, after our AP expires. Hubby was looking at RCL just yesterday, he must have been thinking the same thing.

The old church is the one where Vermeer is buried, along with some other important Dutch historical figures. And there is a cool old bible from the 1400s. Sunday, we said goodbye to most of our group and my friend and I headed back to Utrecht where we had to split up, so we went to the Haar Castle before leaving. No pictures are allowed inside, so I stole a few from the website. View attachment 113543
