My dh is now rethinking what to do on our just us trip. With the price of the AP going up he says we might do UNI only if Avatarland isn't going to be open by the time we're planning to go. He says it won't be worth upgrading our tickets to APs.and he can't see paying for 2 day tickets. I guess I'll just have to keep an ear to the ground. LOL that will be my excuse to spend some extra time here over the next almost 10 months

No pictures allowed in the castle or in the Mauritz museum, but I can sure post pictures from the boat tour, the churches, etc, if no one else minds.Sounds fun, any pictures you care to share?
Sympathy like. Do you know how you got the infection? Was it something you ate? I hope you feel better soon!in other news.. today seen my doc with the results of my tests.. I have a heavy bacterial infection in my intestines.. I already have the meds.. wow!
all my health issues seems connected to that.
I read "dirty diaper plates", which....eeeuuuuwww. But aside from that, it's so true. I was gone for 2.5 days and came home to a dirty house, hubby fed the kids nothing but junk (seriously...he gave them "dessert day" 2 days in a row, which is when he takes them to the store and lets them each pick out 3 or 4 desserts or junk food items to have as dinner...chips, cookies, chocolate, ice cream, soda, etc...that was dinner...and lunch....and breakfast, for 2 days. The other meal he took them out for fries and chicken nuggets.), he didn't replace the milk that he couldn't tell if it was good or bad so he dumped it and didn't tell me to get new...I discovered when I went to make the egg wash and breading for the baked chicken yesterday, and he left DS's wet towel and dirty soccer clothing from Saturday morning in the gym bag, so when I went to get him ready for practice last night, his bag REEKED and his soccer stuff was all dirty.Too funny, first he'd have to find the kitchen. The running joke in my neighborhood is if the women ever vanished there'd be lots of deceased deer, dirty paper plates and a wood shortage due to grilling and smoking not to mention bad taste in clothes
If Avatarland is open it is going to be crazy busy.Might mean Potter is slightly less so . . . Just sayinMy dh is now rethinking what to do on our just us trip. Ski lodges aren't for me. I'd spend my time hiding from the snow.Pretty, but it makes me want some hot cocoa!
What's the verdict? Splint or cast? Hoping all goes well!Getting cast off tomorrow. Then, either another cast or back to my splint. Hoping for the latter. My arm itches.

I hope so. The only way we'll do Disney 2017 is if we do the upgrade while we're there. I have 10 months to work on him(feed him) LOLIt has been so long now I can't put my finger on how long ago Avatarland was first announced and still so far off in the distance. I had that same feeling about Fanasyland Expansion. I was in Circus shortly after it opened and remember being most impressed by how pretty the colors of Dumbo was and the peanuts in the sidewalk but for the most part that section was just a remodel.
Don't fret too much yet. Maybe after the family trip is complete and a few months have passed he might have a change of heart for his kid-less trip. Mixing the expenses of both in his head just might be too much in his head at the moment.![]()
I can deal with one day of crazy busy in exchange for less busy PotterIf Avatarland is open it is going to be crazy busy.Might mean Potter is slightly less so . . . Just sayin
I'll be hiding with you some place nice and warm! We should take @betty rose with usSki lodges aren't for me. I'd spend my time hiding from the snow.![]()
I love the way snow looks...I just don't like the cold. What I DO like about it is being able to curl up with a book and a blanket and some hot chocolate and just relax. Which is kind of like hiding from snow....can I come along?I'll be hiding with you some place nice and warm! We should take @betty rose with us![]()
For the price of an 8-day vacation at WDW, we can take an 8-day Caribbean cruise with four ports of call. That is more appealling to us until they get more of the construction projects done at the parks.I agree, Disney is getting too, too expensive for those on a fixed income. But, I can go to Disney, stay at DVC and do other thing then the parks, everyday. We will probably not renew the annual pass, after this year.
If they have snowmobiles for rent i'll be there alsoI'll be hiding with you some place nice and warm! We should take @betty rose with us![]()
Dunno yet. Won't know until after the appointment, which is at 2.What's the verdict? Splint or cast? Hoping all goes well!
Bottom line... Either pay it or find out first hand how long you can tread water. Simple economics! Are you building an arc or Disney park?
Of course all are welcome!I love the way snow looks...I just don't like the cold. What I DO like about it is being able to curl up with a book and a blanket and some hot chocolate and just relax. Which is kind of like hiding from snow....can I come along?
