Yes I have those ready to go to. We're not expecting the same amount of wind and what not as we got with Sandy, but we lost power for almost a week with that. Thankfully no damage. I have a friend with a whole house generator and she's an older widow and would welcome the company even if we only come over to shower. Our is only big enough to power the freezer, fridge and a couple of lights. I can make coffee on the grill and we have a camp stove.

We have a camp stove too. Lots of bottles of propane and sleeping bags. I'm putting the glow sticks on my grocery list this week. Thanks for reminding me!

My mom's doc told her to eat very carefully the entire week before blood work. I'm not absolutely sure about that, but better safe than sorry.

I don't have a problem with the HP adults only party, it's the 350 per person that gets me. For that price I want a nice night at a hotel within staggering distance! BTW I plan on wearing a deathly hallows chain while over at UNI. My dh does a very bad job of hiding Christmas presents so shhhh I act surprised when I get it. He should know by now I'll see it if it's put someplace I clean.

His best bet would be the attic, or with all his computer stuff. Those areas are quite safe from any cleaning by me.
