But, I'm out for now, gang. To say the least, it's been a long day, but, it's back to the grind tomorrow.

Again, I can't thank you all enough for the support. You all are angels.
The sweetest of sweet dreams to each and every one of y'all...!

OMG! Those look like the guys gymnastic pants! Giggle!

Did you go fall shopping yet. Those long sweaters are back again. I look back at photos of me, Big hair, Big Sweaters....ultimately in hindsight this fashion is best on tall slender women. Me, while fairly slender at least for my age, I am too freak'n short for such long sweaters and a tad too old for leggings. Thinking I am best to keep wearing my jeans though those sweaters were mighty comfy.
Jeans, always for me. I hope the manufactures put out heavier sweaters this year. Last years out here were so light weight, and we are supposed to turn down the heat. That just doesn't work for me. :coldfeet:

I remember a very old Peter Rabbit cartoon made sometime in the 1930's or 1940's. It was also one of the earliest animated adaptation of "The Tale Of Peter Rabbit" story by Beatrix Potter. I believe this was also made while she was still alive since she died in 1943 but I could be wrong.

I can't remember the name, but I remember the title card had a jester introducing the cartoon. The only memory I have is when his sisters Mopsy,Flopsy, and Cottentail are scolding him in song by calling Peter a "naughty boy" and Peter responds by calling them "Tattle tail". I also remember in the beginning where his mother spanks him and Peter can be seen with a tear rolling down his eye. I remember seeing this cartoon a few times on Cartoon Network in the early 2000's. I think it was made by the Fleischer company or the company that made the Casper cartoons but I could be wrong. For those that seen if, can you let me know what the cartoon is because I haven't seen that short in years! I hope I'm not the only person who seen that cartoon a few times in the past.

The rain is really going along with some really loud bangs! It's going to go to go on and off until Joaquin is supposed to get here. I have enough propane and kerosene to get me through a week if needed. This is one time I'm really happy I keep certain things stocked up. I sure hope none of the supplies including glow stix and batteries won't be needed. Charging hand held video games, portable DVD players and tablets as we chat! Good luck!
Stay safe @figmentfan 423. I there is a National emergency, can I come to your house. You are one on the most prepared person I know! Compliments to you, for thinking ahead. xoxo

I guess we have gotten to the point where there cannot be any adult based things to do. Include children or be damned. At $350 per person there had better be some libation involved along with something that would interest young adults. Personally, I'm not sure I'd want my children in a room full of adults with that type of "Wizard" based obsession. I don't have anything against fans of Harry Potter, but, seriously, doesn't there come a time when childhood obsessions are grown out of? Other then Mickey, of course!;):)
I don't have a problem with the HP adults only party, it's the 350 per person that gets me. For that price I want a nice night at a hotel within staggering distance!:D BTW I plan on wearing a deathly hallows chain while over at UNI. My dh does a very bad job of hiding Christmas presents so shhhh I act surprised when I get it. He should know by now I'll see it if it's put someplace I clean.

I take the light Progresso soups, and add spices more water and veggies (sorry), to make them less salty. I do like how those soups tastes, and it cuts the cooking time way down. I use frozen veggies in winter. Our "fresh" looks shriveled up by the time they get here.
Sympathy like, our winter selection isn't always the best, but I find enough greens to keep me happy.

Yes I have gone fall clothing shopping, but for work/business clothes. As for casual clothes, I haven't really picked up on any trends for fall. The trick is to wear whatever style looks best on you, not what the clothing companies are trying to push.

And a big tip for fashion magazines: a fashion model told me that if I see an outfit I like on the page of fasion magazine, to cover up the face of the model--and take a second look. It's amazing the different perspective that can give you at times . . . you might then see that the outfit would look ridiculous on your own body size and height, and/or be age inappropriate. ;)
Great tips! At this age a bag over my face would appropriate!:D:rolleyes:

You're always welcome. When we lost power after Sandy I had already put away lots of glow stix for our next trip. I wound up using a few of those for night lights. Now I always have some in the pantry.
