I have that problem with ER doctors. Which is why I usually ask for a specialist, or at least a respritory therapist. Sometimes those doctors only think they know what they are doing

I know what you mean. I took care of a gal in the ER who was advised to take saline news at home to help her cough. Needless to say, she came to the ER wheezing and short of breath.
I didn't want to pay 150 to go to the ER or 50 for urgent care. This PA is new so I reluctantly saw him. Not again, only my usual PA will do. She is awesome.

*shakes head* Like I said, sometimes they only think they know what they are doing.

The Pediatric ER doctors at our local hospital were always better than the ones in the adult ER now. They knew what they were doing more with asthma. The adult ER doctors are really bad. Remind me to tell you the long story about the one who tried to tell me that I did not have asthma.

Usually, my allergist can fit me in in a pinch during the day. If not, I can usually get in to see one of the allergists at his office. Not always a bad thing either; one of the other allergists suggested one of the two controllers that I'm on (Alvesco).

I usually only do Urgent Care for non-asthma stuff. It's $30, which is the same as seeing my allergist. So if it's a Friday afternoon and I need to be seen, it's a pretty good option.

I thought it was cute, and immediately thought of Dino, Sammy, Peter, and Joey from the 1960's Vegas entertainment era. :) (I don't follow sports, so maybe that's why Packers never dawned on me that it was the name of a team as well.)

Each state has something special and unique to offer; and unless you live there, you may not be aware of this. Each state also has its own controversial issues. What's important is to balance it all out, make as informed and reasonable decisions as you can, and always be kind and patient with others.

What I've learned over the years is that you can find good, decent, people no matter where you go. I've never been to Texas, but I know that you and @donaldtoo live there now (or have lived there in the past), and I like the both of you. So that's 2 for Texas right there! ;)

Yeah, many of NFL Fans are not likely to be thrilled saying we are Packers. Packers being our (Bears) rival so being a Packer...No. ;)

I just want to say that the first Star Wars trailer comes out Friday in select theatres. Though I expect someone will put it online. Seems kind of early for the first trailer. Movie doesn't come out til next December.
