YEA! No snow until December 24th and none after!
I found out in my 20s that Christmas still comes with or without snow. I doubt there was a blizzard going on in Bethlehem.

I "get" to use old age thingy!;)
Yea, that is a very effective angle. Younger people (which we were part of at one point) really do not know what happens as one ages so they just accept it. We never have to tell them that we weren't interested enough to try and remember. :)

Yep, we really enjoyed AoA when we stayed there in the Cars section family suites in July of '12 with a party of 13, and my 60% CM discount...! :)
Unfortunately, not only was there a CM discount blackout when we went back in June of '13, but, the price had gone up too.
We ended up staying at ASMusic instead, with my 60% CM discount. :)
The Nemo and Cars sections were the only ones that were open when we were there.
We were very impressed with the resort...! :)
We are staying in the Mermaid room in October, I love the bright colors in the room!

That's really awful, I'm so sorry that happened. So was the doctor trying to remove the cancer?

Edit: I saw your other post about the malpractice. I was going to ask about that as well. But yes, what difference would it have made if she won? Unless the doctor was not a good doctor to begin with.
It was the anesthesiologist , forcing in the air tube. The Dr. was fired from the hospital after that. Apparently she had done the same thing in the past. To make a long story short, the surgery to repair the good lung was guided by surgeons out of Indianapolis, since our local surgeons didn't know what they were doing.

I keep imagining the new boat ride at AK to be Willy Wonka Chocolate River experience. I'd likely enjoy that more than Avatar. The experience could end and guests could disembark through a QS Chocolate land or better a Ghirardelli that serves their lovely lot liquid chocolate.

Such a wonderful idea. I would love someplace in Disney smelling like chocolate.:hungry:

Home, unfortunately. Cat has no idea what to do with herself. Wondering how much sleep she will actually allow me to get over the next few nights, especially since I'm planning on being gone for most of the day until about Friday.

At least I don't have school until Tuesday. That is always good.

Hope @JenniferS is enjoying her trip.
I'm glad you had a safe trip home. Rest up before school starts again.

Thank you! I would appreciate that. Yes, he's been on blood thinners for YEARS, which makes it a bit more scary because then there's not much more they can do to prevent another stroke other than adjust the amount of blood thinners he's already on. He's also been on something for his cholesterol. He goes to the doctor regularly and gives me updates about how they went. I mostly worry about him driving and having another one. Technically, his doctor told him he shouldn't be driving. But because he lives alone out in the boondocks, he allowed him to keep his license with the understanding that he would only drive if it was absolutely necessary. But what the doctor views as absolutely necessary and what an 82 year old rancher views as absolutely necessary are two different things. I'll give him credit though. When I reamed him up one side and down the other about not driving, I gave him several alternatives for getting groceries (he has some great neighbors only a mile or so away, as well as friends and family who live in town and come to check on him periodically or will let him stay with them sometimes) and he does actually utilize them much more than I ever expected, so he is taking it seriously now, if for no other reason than to humor me.
I'm glad that your dad can still live independently. I'm also glad that he has a Dr. and you watching out for him. You are a good daughter.:inlove:

Sympathy like. I can't imagine how you all must have felt. I lost my mom to breast cancer and they did everything they could and it was still hard to lose her. It must be so much harder when they made a mistake that contributed to his death. But suing the doctors wouldn't bring him back and I'm sure the doctors were already upset by what happened. Such a tough situation all around.
My Dad was okay with the situation, he accepted that things happen in life, and went on knowing his time was short.

Wow. That is considered quite an honor. Your hubby must have earned their respect while he worked there; that speaks very highly of him.
He made some very nice friends, and he is highly principled in his work. He had one client (no one in the tribe), that wanted him to do something not according to law. He refused, and that one time client wrote his employer and told them he was "Too honest". Imagine, of course he worked for a very honest firm, and they were proud of him. By, the way...I am too!:inlove:

Thank you. Yes, I love farm stands. This one is especially nice, because it's on a really large farm--they have lots of farm animals and they also have a big vegetable growing section as well. It's really massive and the land is on both sides of a back country road. I'm familiar with the people who own and work on the farm, because I've gone cross country skiing there many winters. They have tons of trails for skiing.
There is nothing like home grown vegetables. Mom and Dad always grew our vegetables. :hungry:
