My first was a Noma. No probs.
The second was a Noma. Trash.
Can't remember the brand of the current one. Might be a Kirkland (Costco) or I got it at Canadian Tire. Not sure.

No proof of course, but I'd bet that bag of Ginger Cream Oreos that they all were "made in China".

Ha! I look to see even if the dog biscuits and treats are made in China.

I went downstairs and looked earlier today, trees are Bethlehem Trees.

Over the last 5 years one of the things we've started to do (thanks for pushing it DD) is to read the reviews on what we are going to purchase. We meaning me and my DD. Not just the manufacturer but we've learned to look for reviews on models too cause they widely vary in the reviews.

We have not gotten there with the boys yet, DS often calls his Sis when he is buying stuff and she looks. My DH doesn't like to shop unless it has something to do with Harbor Freight, his Happy Place. We have had nothing but issues with our lights we had put out on the back of the property when we were having skunk issues. I was in the middle of something when he announced he was going to buy light fixtures and did I want to come. Well yeah 'cause if I didn't they'd look like something mounted outside a factory, lol. So on the spot I had to pick them out and he had already called the electrician while we were there.

When the issues started with the lights I started looking for solutions online and found out the solution was to have never bought those particular lights in the first place. The reviews were everything I was experiencing. :cautious: I even look at reviews of companies that I am ordering from for shipping, reliability and customer service if there is something wrong with the product and of course free shipping back if it is defective.

Sure there is - 300 kids and 300 adults singing Let it Go at the top of their lungs at DHS Singalong.
And ... Do You Wanna Be A Snowman, the Summer Song (?), and For the First Time in Forever, and then Let it Go, again.
And then ... doing it again four hours later.
By choice. :)

I'm in your DHs camp. Instead of Let it Go, I'm in the I'm not going camp.

Sympathy like.
We're supposed to get a few hours of freezing rain tomorrow morning, before turning into regular rain.

In the meantime, I'm sick of snow already, so I shan't be in the least bit sorry to see it go buh-bye.

This could be you!

I just had a shower, and oh happy day, it was time to open a new bar of soap.
I like to switch it up every time. Tangerine, shea butter, satsuma, honey, mango, olive oil ....

Today's choice was coconut.
It was perfect ... milky white, pillow-shaped with the Body Shop logo perfectly stamped, wonderfully fragrant!

It should have remained pristine for at least another couple of showers.
Alas, I dropped it and completely smooshed one corner.
I am sad.

And now OCD me has to wait another month or so until it is time to open another perfect bar.

That's not good. Are you okay?

I don't think I fractured anything but I did twist my ankle, which is how it started, I was stepping around a car at the end of a row heading to the entrance. The asphalt is in major patch sections and this had a good 2 inch drop to the next patch, twisted ankle and went flying. Mid fall I let go of coffee vs trying to save it (duh) and hit ground hard but I did roll with the impact. I was proud that after all these years I remembered to roll as that was drummed into our heads in Judo but I'm sure it wasn't pretty to watch, scared my DD. My hip took the worst of it, then ankle then side of hand, I didn't hit my head, blessed. Pup didn't get a walk last night.

Going back to car I looked at the lot, the entire thing is very uneven, they seem to add layers in areas that need to be fixed and overlap and do not bother at all to grade the patches level. I'm am so surprised that their village inspectors allow them to do this.

WOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! :joyfull: :joyfull: :joyfull:
Didn't wanna' say anything 'til it was final, but, DWifey finally told her employer to go shove it, today...!!!!!

WooHoo!!! So happy for her. That lady has a long long fuse but love it when she draws that line! Can't think of a better time of year for her to pick to tell them to Shove It!!! Really it is a shame because was good at it and they took advantage of her, their loss now.

Is she gone or did she give them notice? Give her a {{{BIG HUG}}} for me. *happy dance*

Well, a pox on all their houses.

Our city is slowly replacing large chunks of sidewalks everywhere.

First, the crews go out and orange spray-paint the most egregious height differences.
Then, the next summer, a crew comes with a grinder, and attempts to sand down the sticky-up edges.
Then, the next summer, the City Works dep't comes out and spray paints a big X on those patches slated for replacement.
Then, the next summer, a private contractor (working for the city) actually comes out and pours the new patches.

And then JenniferS shows remarkable restraint and does not carve "JS loves MD" in the fresh cement.
See how I've matured.

Walt shot me a glace twice for my laughter outbursts with these 3 sentences.

It is a shame that our towns are Moron Sister Cities, though this time where I fell was quite a distance from our town so we will need to add another to the clan.
