We "blessed" people get that kind of question all the time. We have been instructed by a much higher authority to refer all such questions to headquarters. I believe it has an 800 number which you will have to ask information about. (I forgot to write it down, probably during one of those headaches) It would be considered a long, long, long, long distance call otherwise.

I found the 800 number and just called it. Recording said the number was no longer in service.

Last film I saw in theaters was Jurassic World. I don't like going to the theater much cause too many ppl like to talk and I get easily annoyed.

This is precisely why I rarely ever go to theaters anymore. Between the fools chatting with their pals, some with their phones ringing during the movie, and others turning on their bright phone screens in a dark movie theater--it's all way too distracting. I'm not paying movie ticket prices to be annoyed like that.

Ive never had the phones ringing/cell screen problem, but i have had an entire theater talking when i went to see Ouija. Premature screams, laughing after a jump scare and just constant talking. Was a bad experience.

We came out of this storm pretty well. The roads were rivers for a few hours but we squeaked by for the second night in a row with some of these severe storms just missing us. I mean missing us only be a 2 miles in any direction, similar to the night before. All I can think of is for the last several weeks most rain missed us and the ground has been really dry. Maybe there just wasn't enough moisture to blow up these clouds as there is in the surrounding area????

Whatever the reason we were blessed once again. The rotating clouds were aiming right at us and as they approached the sirens went off *Gabe & Walt hide downstairs* but the severe storms started breaking apart as it hit our town line. Amen.

Thank God.

Our Target has a small Starbucks. I'm not even thinking coffee and I walk through those big red doors and Starbucks is off immediately to the right. Too often I turn right instead of walking straight into the aisles. The first thing I do in the morning is go flip the switch on the coffee pot that I set up the night before. I accomplish nothing without a cup or two.

Gran started having coffee with me every afternoon when I was 2 years old. Granted there was initially little coffee in that China Cup, more cream and sugar but I remember sitting with her having a few peaceful grown-up moments during those early years. She had two Grandsons at that time but I was her Princess. She didn't like my Sister when she came around years later.

Our Target also has a Starbucks inside. :)

In place like New Hampshire, or most of New England, for that matter, sinkholes are caused by broken water lines. The water table is pretty deep and the whole place is built on a mountain range(s). Or possibly in this case since it is on a major highway it might even be a defective culvert that gave way or was installed incorrectly. Coastal areas might be more susceptible to the kind of sinkholes that Florida has. I'm not sure where that picture is from exactly.

This was up in Concord, I-93 North. You might possibly be correct about a recessed broken water line running under the highway; but last time I checked the update, the officials up there indicated that they didn't have a clue what caused the sinkhole.

The truly amazing part about the situation this afternoon, was that no cars drove over that space when the road suddenly caved in, and miraculously, no one was injured. That's a heavily trafficked section of 93 (exits 13 and 14) adjacent to New Hampshire's capitol city, on a regular business day. Unreal.

Indulge my rant for a quick moment please. Those of you that know me realize I am a life long loyal Cubs, Hawks and Bears fan. Thank you Hawks for 5 great years. Cubs well while doing better-it is that Goat Thing. It is what it is no matter who owns that team I love.

My Rant is the Bears, more specifically our quarterback, Jay Cutler. I wanted to reach through the TV during the news as he said

I thought they got after us,” Cutler said of the Colts. “I thought they won the day. We’ve got to fix a lot of things. I’ve got to fix some stuff, O-line, receivers. We’ll have some good film to watch tonight, we’ll make some corrections and see what we can do tomorrow.”

OUCH!!! Dude you've been our guy for 8.5 years already, do you know how many times I've heard you say we've got to fix some things?

Thank you,

Rant Over

calling @seahawk7

So back in the day like around 15 years ago, I was playing baseball. A grounder came up a hit my finger (index finger) straight on. Needless to say, I had to have a splint on it. But it must of not healed correctly because it pains every now and then. Fast forward to yesterday, I felt a sharp pain in that finger and today I noticed that if I put my hand flat, I can feel (as in touching my knuckle with my fingers) a little ball or something moving at the top of my knuckle. Granted I could have had it for years and I never noticed.

Cause for concern or just go see a doctor whenever?

Yea, I don't know any of the details of this particular one. I remember a reoccurring one on I-89 in Vermont which was caused by water erosion under the highway. Seems that after a heavy rain all the water funneled down the hillside and ended up in the same spot along the highway, worked it's way under a like magic... a sink hole would develop.

That is the one thing that will keep me from the Great Southerners Hall of Fame. I don't like biscuits. Never have, never will. Too dry, with or without gravy. Down here it is something that is used for every occasion, but, I continue to refrain from participation. I'm hoping that my love of Corn Bread will at least give me an honorable mention, but, I'm not counting on it.

Chitlins would be next on my list even though every mega grocery store I've been in sells them along side pork chops and steaks. About 50 miles or so from where I live is a place called Nahunta Pork Center which has highway signs that are designed after the South of the Border** highway signs on I-95, except cheaper looking, where you can buy Whole Pig Faces. Not sure who exactly buys them, however, they do sell them.

But, I digress, what were we talking about? Oh, yea... Biscuits. Don't like them.

** For those that have never taken the road trip from the northeast to Florida have missed out on that reference and experience of what just might be the 8th Wonder of the World, says Pedro!
I love the cornbread from HDDR. We always ask for extra. Chitlins are :hungover: . One and done for me. They stink when cooking and that smell gets stuck in my nose.
