All appliances suck, dishwasher is on it's last legs, as well as stove, and refrigerator. They all failed at once, and are failing again at once. I see a pattern here, I had whirlpool, GE, Samsung. This time I'm looking for something from Europe, sis has had good luck with hers.
Sympathy like. My dh just replaced the water pump on my dishwasher. Other than that it's holding up well! My dishwashers get lots of work as everything has to go through, no risking just a hand washing here! It's a Bosch and I'm happy. My MIL has a Kenmore she can't seem to kill and my mom has a Kitchen Aid that's been around forever. Good luck

Well, I have now done what I swore I would never do.

I walked into Starbucks and ordered a Starbucks product. In WDW. I was initially against even bringing Starbucks to WDW, but their Epcot location is really nice and doesn't even feel like Starbucks. But now I'm wondering, what happened to me?

They can make their lattes with coconut milk here. :hungry:
THNX for the head's up about coconut milk. The only reason we got a cup last trip (MSUSA) is because we had a coupon for a free cup!

Although allergies are a serious subject, it did remind me of something amusing; and it is 'somewhat' related to this discussion.

I don't know if it's a "barber" shop thing, but both my father (years ago, God rest his soul) and now my husband both use barbers for their hair cuts (no fancy hair salons--small, independently-owned barber shops). Along with the cheap prices, sports magazines, and no frills atmosphere, the barbers always had free peanuts for their customers, while they were waiting. (Guys like peanuts. :) ) By the way, there isn't one beauty salon that I've ever been to, that offered peanuts.

Nothing has changed in this regard at the barber shop where hubby goes, but I wonder if some other non-restaurant establishments put any sort of sign in their window, if peanuts are inside? Something I'd never give a second thought to before; but maybe a heads up (no pun intended) to customers, just on the outside chance that someone has an allergy. The barbers could still keep providing peanuts, but at least a new customer with an allergy, could make an informed decision from reading the sign, and go elsewhere.
When I lived outside of Philly I went to a fancy schmancy place that served wine and finger sandwhiches:hungry:

Bags are a pain in the neck. I haven't used a bag vacuum for quite a few years now. Come to think of it, I haven't used a vacuum in . . . um . . . quite a while? o_O (Oops . . . guess I better drag it out of the closet . . .)
No worries I do enough for the both of us! I have to vacuum at least once a day between the boys and dog and maybe it should really be done at least twice during shedding season:cautious:

I never, nor do I think anyone else, would suggest otherwise. It's nice when places cater to you and your allergies, but sadly, it can't be that way everywhere. I do wonder, though, if places like Five Guys could do more nut free-options, as they would attract people who can tolerate having peanuts at another table but who cannot ingest them, instead of cooking everything in peanut oil, which makes it out for most.

However, you are wrong. There are very few places that cater to allergies. I don't eat out very much because there are too few places that do cater to allergies or that are nut-free. Subway, Chipotle, Panera, and some chain places are fine (for me at least, Panera has nuts, but I don't order their pastries), but I don't do any ice cream places, only safe smoothies place I have found so far is Smoothie King, had to give up Dunkin' Donuts, no Starbucks food items, and very few Chinese places (basically, one near me that does a good job, PF Chang's, and WDW), among others. I feel like my friends and I end up going the same four places every time we get food. While I understand that people like nuts (and hey, if you're not allergic, they are actually very, very good for you) and other foods that others can eat that some cannot, places can definitely learn more about how to handle when someone comes in with a food allergy. Outside of Disney, everyone just looks panicked when you say something. It makes it very challenging for those of us with food allergies and often leaves us feeling so drained that we don't have any desire to go back. Be glad that you do not have allergies as they are a pain to deal with.
^^^^^ THIS! I usually only go to 2 local places or Disney for going out to eat.
