Croutons are not the calorie loader on salads. You can leave them off if you want, but to decrease calories, ask for the dressing on the side and dip your fork in the dressing instead of having it all over your salad. At home, if you like light dressings, go for it. To me they taste just like regular dressing, but less fat, and ergo less calories.
I love light balsamic. I especially like Paul Newman's light olive oil and vinegar. Yummy, thanks for the heads up!

Cracker Barrel is the closest non-fast food restaurant to my house.
I'm glad ours about an hour away, is not good...I could see fried chicken mashed potatoes , and green beans in my future, with corn bread. Yum, yum....right now I'm eating a salad, no dressing...with lots of tomato's...(sorry Jennifer)....boring...Oh, well got to save up for Bar-B-Q. Tomorrow!

I like bread... :cyclops: ... a lot...
Bread is often my dessert! Crossoints, pretzels, and just plain toast, of course peanut butter and jelly adds to the dessert!:D
The sad part is, this behavior is not exclusive to drunks. There are people who are Blatantly stupid.

All to save mere seconds in their schedule.. they have to rely on very sharp turns and run around other cars.

Yesterday for example, I was very annoyed. because I was going at 5Km/h above the speed limit. I Following my mother to get her jeep to repair (I was right behind her car).
Then a clown uses the right emergency lane (which is used for emergency stops and is around 60% of the size of a normal lane) to try to go around me, then after finding a car stopped at the emergency lane a few meters away.. he lowered the speed, turned to the left, returned to the lane I was.. then upped the speed.
Going at 120Km/h, he went past me using the left lane, then chunked between my mother jeep's and my car (by braking hard and lodging between the small space between me and my mother's car).

Then.. Guess what he did? he turned right hard to take the highway exit to take another road.
Total saved time by his reckless stunts?.. HALF SECOND.
I call that stupid, and crazy.

The best thing about iced tea is that it is hard to not have good iced tea. I don't now and never have been a coffee drinker. I like the smell of it brewing, but, I just do not care for the taste, especially iced. (gag) Just plan old unsweetened, brewed, ice tea is good just about anyplace you care to look. Even McDonald's and it's only a dollar for 16 ounces with free refills. I never go on a road trip without stopping at the first McDonald's I come to and buying my on the road Iced Tea. The only down is when they only put about five ice chunks in it. I want to get out of the car and have them repeat after me 100 times... ICED TEA QUICKLY BECOMES LUKE WARM TEA WITHOUT SUFFICIENT ICE. I don't care if it dilutes the tea since tea is 99.9% water anyway. I also get upset when all I can find in the stores is lemon flavored Iced Tea. If I wanted lemonade I would buy lemonade. Rant over!

I was once a 6 to 8 can a day Pepsi drinker. I stopped that cold turkey and went to Iced Tea at least 20 years ago. I still consume probably a half or more gallon per day.
I have a medical issue with iced tea, I used to have it with breakfast , lunch , and dinner..and in between. It is so good, along came kidney stones and I had to give it up . I hate my urologist! not really I don't have as many stones , but I miss my tea, a lot!

Funniest picture I've seen all day! You always have a knack for finding the silliest, goofyest pix, that crack me up! :hilarious:

Oh, as a side note to you and @Gabe1 , this reminds me a little of Jack on Sunday mornings. Hubby makes pancakes, and Jack always gets his pancake, too--he looks a lot like this with a pancake hanging out of his mouth--because he's too much of a dork to bite it up into pieces! He prefers everything "whole"!!
Get a pic sometime, I love animal pics, and beach pics, of course...:D

That's strange, I have never heard of tea causing kidney stones. How could it, it is almost 100% water. It doesn't, to my knowledge, contain anything even remotely like calcium, which I believe is needed to create stones. I'd get a second opinion about that, unless you already have.

Considering the amount of iced tea that I drink on a daily basis I should have kidney stones the size of Mt. Everest (minus the yeti).

Depends on the person, tea, chocolate and coffee, contain oxalate in them...some stones are calcium and some are oxalate, I have had both. So little foods with oxalate.. I still have oxalate, but tea, for me causes me to pass crystals, a big ouch, so I avoid. People are very individual, when it comes to stones, hubby can have a glass of iced tea once a week, I just had to give it up. On a more personal note...I have another issue...trust me tea causes pain...
